listening to music in the oldest museum of the netherlands @teylersmuseum on fine speakers by @formfollowsfrequency, co-hosted with @koda_010 @pitchblackplayback, and learning more about japanese reggae pop with @kay_suzuki_music @tokyo_riddim_band in a room that somehow makes the music even more intimate, and having the most wholesome conversation with hans from @vinylfarm.eu about how music is a universal language bringing people together and how everyone finds their own way into it.

the three vinyl records on slide 7 are the ones hans dug out of the crate and recommended I bring home and discover. music, places, people!

Attention to ingredients, flavours and combinations calls for attention to detail. The approach that goes into Klink’s cocktails is reflected in the interior: materials, colours, lighting and details are carefully tuned to one another.
Red-oiled wood, mirrored cabinets, textured glass and curved timber create a warm, classic base. With plenty of character making it unmistakably @cafe.klink
A little like the cocktails: familiar, with a surprisingly funky twist.

A good interior doesn’t happen at the drawing board alone.

For @cafe.klink at the Oostzeedijk, I’ve worked closely with the guys from Klink, who I’ve known for years. Together with @lauraschurink on colours and materials and @diederiksonneveld on lighting, we’ve brought tons of ideas together into something truly special.

I designed and built the bar, translating all the different ideas and functions into one cohesive piece of furniture.

Everyone brings their own expertise, but we’re all working towards the same thing: creating the best bar we can imagine.

A compact bar, with a lot of functions and even more character.

Shoutout to @brunoszenk for unwavering support throughout the build!
