Trap Bar Deadlift: quick coaching demo.

@davidjohnson31, who holds the FSP 3-rep record at 745 pounds, demonstrates a clean trap bar deadlift set with 555 pounds.

Other coaching points to watch for:
The frontal plane (side view):
Lumbar neutrality (avoid excessive lumbar flexion or extension)

Hip/knee balance (sharing the load with near-equal sagittal displacement of those two joints

Trunk tilt (this will vary based on lever ratios and hip and ankle mobility, and should be natural to the athlete)

Pitchers and Quarterbacks:
2 big training focuses often get overlooked when it comes to sustaining arm heath and throwing velocity- 1. passive shoulder range of motion
2. eccentric strength of your posterior shoulder musculature

But why do these two even matter?

Can’t say we kept them all in the fairways, but had a helluva good time trying. Blessings on blessings to play a round with these fellas! ⛳️ Won’t mention who won!

3 favorite chest exercises 💪

1.) Push Up
Great foundational movement that is low risk and is simple yet effective. You can do them anywhere and still get a great chest activation!

2.) Dumbbell Bench Press
Focuses more on stabilizing and balancing the weight since it is an open chain exercise.

3.) Barbell Bench Press
Lets you move the most weight out of the three which builds raw upper body strength!

No matter the variation, it’s all about building strength, control, and consistency. 💯💯

What’s your favorite chest exercise?
