A moment from the process...

As I make progress in my latest series, I'm reminding myself to slow down and enjoy the beauty in each step along the way.

It's easy for me to get lost in the to-do lists or the done-what's-next mindset, but it's moments like this that pull me into the present and ground me.

Seeing my collection of vintage and antique frames waiting to be filled like blank canvases is overwhelming in the best way.

Raffle drawings from the East Williamsburg Art Crawl!!

Last week was such an inspiring accumulation of local artists, businesses, and explorers who came together to support and discover some of the amazing art in our community. East Williamsburg is so full of life and we were honored to share some of that with you.

Businesses who participated gave it their all and really showed the city what it means to be a small business in a big city. You survive because of your heart and love for your community. Art installations ranged from studio art installations, to music, to flash tattoos, and to some amazing immersive experiences.

So many explorers submitted their finished passports to be entered in the raffle, and I just want to say thank you to every single person who went into this experience with an open heart and mind and inspired us with their stories of what they saw and who they met. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Congratulations to the three lucky winners, and to many more experiences in the future! 🥂 🍻 ☕️ ☕️ ✨ #eastwilliamsburg #artcrawl #localart #brooklyn #artfair

being a part of @gallery.atarah’s summer salon show sure has been cool.

@atarah is a supportive & thoughtful curator and made my first time showing my ceramic work with a gallery feel seamless and special—her idea to suspend it on chains in the center of the room totally blew me away. and she took these incredible photos of it too 💫

WHAT YOU SAY, BIG BLONDE? is on view + for sale @gallery.atarah now thru 8/21 ⛓️🏳️⛓️
