The kitchen is no longer just for cooking, it’s where we gather, work, entertain, and spend more time than ever. 🍽️

For the next Design Dialogues, we’re exploring how designers are rethinking the modern kitchen, from layout and storage to appliances, materials, and the details that make a space work harder while still feeling effortless.

Join Sarah Zames, Nilay Oza, and Julianna Morais for a conversation moderated by Helena Madden on designing kitchens that are as functional as they are considered.

The kind of styling that makes you want to repaint everything green! Stone, cabinetry, all of it leaning into one moody tone. And tucked right into it, the Kolmio lamp from @sarahshermansamuel @luluandgeorgia holding its own next to all that texture...

In the autumn issue of @onofficemag we’ve focused on innovative material use in the workplace and beyond. From circular construction hub @tippingpointeast to our cover project, the Agrosemillas offices by @impepinable.studio, which reuse shipping containers, there’s plenty to inspire.

Plus so much more!

A peaceful retreat from busy city lives, this Long Island home has been redesigned with thoughtful, handcrafted details in every room.

General Assembly paired natural materials, like clay and wood, with a tactile palette of rich colors, textures, and patterns. Their clever use of glossy and matte glazes in varying sizes creates movement and tonal variation we can’t stop staring at.
