ACW X Day 7. Rain or shine, we closed it out the right way. 🍑

Mother Nature had other plans for our Block Party, so we took the party inside to @oneatlantalounge for our final night of Atlanta Culture Week® X. Thank you to @frankski @djpopo01 and @djfutureone for keeping the energy high and giving us the perfect soundtrack to end an INCREDIBLE week. ✨

Thank you to every sponsor, partner, venue, volunteer, ACW team member, and guest who made our 10th year an absolute dream!

We put on for the city all week long, and we hope we made you all proud. We can’t wait to do it all again next year. This one is for you, Atlanta. 🖤

@onaje_h and I’s #babyshower was so much more than we could have dreamed it to be. Folks flew in from out of town, drove in, changed plans, etc. to show up for us and #babyRocco and I couldn’t thank everyone enough.

To the coordinating team— thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the work that you put into this. From giving Rocco her own art activation, to transforming @zucotgallery into Rocco’s gallery (LOL), it was beautifully done and executed. @martiesegriffin @ebonymdford @simplieshelli @pf9271, @victoria_sears, I so appreciate each and everyone of you!

And, to the artists whose work made the evening even more special— thank you!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a night. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us this past Saturday at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta for the 2026 SafeHouse Outreach Annual Gala. The room was filled with so much love, generosity, joy, and community. You could truly feel God in the room.

Because of everyone who showed up and gave BIG, we can continue giving big to our friends experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, and extreme poverty — providing meals, resources, housing support, and more pathways toward stability.

It was also so special to have some of the people we serve there with us, dressed up, looking amazing, and enjoying the night as part of the SafeHouse community.

It was an honour to have @cityofatlantaga Mayors Office in the room and speaking to the work that we will continue to do together.

Congratulations to this year’s honorees: Partners for HOME, Maxair Mechanical, City Takers, Honor the Homeless, and Ms. Barbara Walker.

Huge thank you to @reazeevents, @j.hillevents @pocketpr for organizing and making the night so special.

Thank you to @monicakpearson for being an amazing host! ##There’s so much more ahead for SafeHouse, and we’re grateful to everyone helping us continue this work. ❤️

Yesterday Im glad to have attended 2 events in Southwest Atlanta. First was a panel hosted by @ulgatl and the Atlanta Barber institute hearing some of the best and brightest members of the General Assembly about Black Men and politics. Then I traveled up the road to participate in my @npupatlanta meeting to hear from more of Atlanta’s elected officials and connecting with members of the community. Yesterday was a good day!
