Some weeks, the most powerful training advice isn’t about splits or mileage...it’s about perspective. Knowing when to push, when to pause, and when to trust the long view is part of becoming a runner for life.

This community is full of runners who’ve learned those lessons the hard way—and are generous enough to pass them on. Today’s WeeViewer Wisdom is a reminder that growth doesn’t only come from podiums, but from consistency, setbacks, and choosing to show up again.

👉 Swipe through, sit with what resonates, and save this for a day you need the reminder.

And if you’ve picked up a lesson worth sharing. Whether from a breakthrough race, an injury, or a season of rebuilding, we’d love to feature your voice next.

Wishing everyone a peaceful Christmas Eve, however you’re spending it. 🎄

We see you out there, not taking a single run for granted.

The holiday season is a reminder to acknowledge the good things in our lives. The gift of movement, the privilege of showing up, the joy of doing what you love are all worth celebrating.

This isn't the last @philly_marathon post (yet) cos honestly, how can I come down from this high that's been building for a year! 😜

FR though, feeling so deeply grateful for the opportunity, the experience, and the love surrounding this race and this city. It's something beyond special.

Thank you all for making it so real and wonderful.

Meet Dawn (@goldendawn127 )! This NYC runner brought all the energy to the 2024 New York City Marathon - smiling and waving her way through 26.2 miles powered by the city’s electric crowds. 🗽💙

Favorite moment? “Feeling like Taylor Swift on stage as friends, family, and total strangers cheered my name!” Oh...and casually bumping into Kipchoge on Medal Monday (GOAT alert 🐐).

Her advice to fellow runners: “Don’t be discouraged by your pace. Slow things down—good things take time.” 🙌

Next up: the Philadelphia Marathon—her 6th!—where she’s running for cancer research with the AACR. ❤️

The New York City Marathon is truly the best day on the calendar, and I was blessed to cross the finish line for the second-straight year. Thankful for the people who supported me to the start line and the crowds that carried me for 26.2 miles through the best city in the world.

I don’t run with music, so I never have my phone out, but I really encourage you to look up photos and videos from the course. It will move you.

Next up: recovery + nine weeks ‘til the @chevronhoustonmarathon
