Good day, everyone!

While wildfires are now held and many have returned home from evacuation, we continue thinking of those who lost their homes and those who gave so much to help those in need.

Our last yoga class of 2026 at The Perch will be a fundraiser to support @foreverhomesanctuary, a farm animal rescue organization providing safe haven to animals in Vernon and surrounding

Thank you to @graceandflow and @celena.winters who are sharing their time with us to support this local charity. We are looking forward to it ❤️❤️❤️

A beautiful Sunday morning at Predator Ridge with the team. 🤍

We started the day with yoga with Grace & Flow, taking a little time to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. Feeling grounded, relaxed, and grateful for this cool, peaceful morning together.

For when you need a break ☀️

@graceandflow hosts some of the most relaxing yoga classes I’ve ever been to! Being outside with the breeze and the smell of lavender in the air immediately puts you in such a calm headspace. It’s so lovely 🥰

Jess hosts yoga outside every Wednesday evening, with sunset classes overlooking Okanagan Lake, and Saturday mornings on this beautiful outdoor yoga platform until the end of September.

She’s also such a great instructor! I don’t know the names of most yoga poses, and in other classes I’ve taken I sometimes feel like I’m a step behind trying to figure out what I’m supposed to be doing.

I never felt that way with Jess, she made everything so easy to follow that I could actually relax and enjoy it!

Comment “event” and I’ll DM you her schedule so you can book a class too ☀️

Have fun and enjoy!

Some people get star struck meeting a singer or an actor. Gerda Krebs did that for me.🥹

She’s 95 years old and still teaching yoga.

Our meeting today left me smiling and giddy! She is so full of energy, so full of life, it’s hard to put into words.

I feel lucky to have sat down with her, to ask what matters most to her when she’s teaching teachers. In her eyes, I’m still just a youngster starting out. (😅I don’t feel young - but she helps to put life into perspective).

She’s learned from Friedel Khattab and so many others over the years, and her teaching style is deeply shaped by her background as a gymnast. She focuses on the physical side of yoga, more than the spiritual.

But don’t let that fool you: Her class was still deeply spiritual: breathwork, meditation, movements to open the meridians in the body, and gongs during our savasana. 🌬️🙏🏻

She’s created her own sequence for anxiety, vagal nerve tone, strength, clarity, brain health, balance, and courage.

It was an absolute honour to come full circle and take Gerda’s class again, 25 years later. 🤍🌿

A reminder to step out of your comfort zone, follow your heart and your dreams…do it scared, maybe even before you feel ready. You never know where it might lead you. Possibly to teach an outdoor yoga class on a secret platform, over looking the lake surrounded by mountains with your besties by your side! My heart is full ❤️🌅🧘‍♀️🍷

Jumping on this trend. Send this to the friend who’s been saying “I should do my yoga teacher training” since 2022 😉
September is the something. 3 seats left 🌿
