2025! A lot of new experiences, many of it spent with people I love and cherish the most. I pushed myself to try and find a better balance of life within my pursuits in film/tv, my health, and the ways I show up for the community. I am still fine tuning the shape of it all, but life lately has been very beautiful!

We’re back with another Cafe Villanz!

Maya and I brought together our good friends to celebrate another apartment pop-up, featuring a tasty selection of drinks - ube, pandan, mango, and calamansi in latte, matcha, and tonic varieties. I also baked ube brownies!

A lot of heart and care went into making this happen - from planning, finalizing the drink menu, and preparing our home for everyone!

We really stepped our coffee game up with beans provided by @boondockscoffee. Be sure to grab a bag for your own home coffee set up! You’ll be the most popular home barista out there - guaranteed!

More friends, new places, more life!

Every year I try to push for some discovery about the person I am becoming. 2024 has been the most surprising year yet! So full of cultivation and growth. I deepened my connection with myself and others, spent more time outside exploring new places, and have been empowered by the people I have met at community events, whether that was at a film festival or mobilizations for justice and liberation.

My main takeaway is that I am more than the craft I have dedicated my career to. I have so much to learn and offer in spaces that began outside my comfort zone. My contribution can be more than what I have been chasing to put onscreen!

Life is moving very quickly, so many things are changing that it scares me, but I am changing too and that is a good thing!

Thank you everyone who made 2024 a very special year!
