Another day on the mats in Cardiff for the Welsh open event. Cheers to @zak_omma, @grapplemachine and all of the members at @olympus_martial_arts for getting me ready.

Double gold today at @prosportgrapplingevents Welsh open. 🥇🥇

First off, thanks to my bro @krzysztofbjj for messaging me and offering me a lift with him if I wanted to compete today, definitely not disappointed with the outcome. And thank you to @sydnicholasjj who I’ve been training with a lot recently for cornering me.

Won my gi division with 2 submissions against the same opponent to claim gold.

Won NoGi with 2 submissions in Adult -70KG, winning my semi finals with a submission against a good level mma prospect and winning my finals by submission against another athlete who’s no stranger to the mats.

Took a lost first round in absolute against an absolute unit who I’ve seen dominating the comp scene.

A dream of mine became a core memory. Walking out Saturday was a wave of emotions. Worked my ass off for years no short cuts no handouts.

Made my second appearance on @polaris_professional this past weekend competing against the person I’ve competed against most in my entire time doing jiu jitsu in @cormacdoesjiujitsu who came with a great game plan and got the better of me again, disappointed but happy with what I get to take away from the match, congratulations bro 🫶🏼

Thankyou to everyone who’s helped me get ready for this your support has been amazing and I feel privileged to get to do this with all of you behind me and take you all along for the ride ❤️

PSG Reading 🥇🥇🥇🥈

First up was the Adult, Gi, -70kg division. I won the quarter and semi finals by submission then won the finals on points, 14-3.

Next was my Juvenile Gi division. I won 2 matches both by submission to claim gold in a best of 3.

Third was Juvenile NoGi, I won my first match by decision then closed out in the finals with a training partner, claiming my 3rd gold medal.

Finally was the NoGi Blue Belt Absolute. I started in the eighth-finals against a super heavy, winning my submission in a quick and dominant fashion. In the quarter-finals I fought one of my friends @milohughesbjj winning by submission. Then onto the semi finals, I went against a tough ultra-heavy weight, winning the match by 2 divisions. In the finals I lost to a very tough 88kg competitor.
