DO MEN HAVE TO TALK?
We tell men to talk. But what if talking just isn’t where they’re at yet?
Ben from @guycryclub talks about why the traditional idea of sitting in a room and opening up simply isn’t going to work for every man.
Sometimes it might start with just being around other men, doing something together and knowing the conversation is there if you want it.
Do we put too much pressure on men to talk, rather than giving them different ways to connect?
The full conversation will be on the MANUP? website, YouTube and Spotify either tonight or tomorrow.
Want the full video? Comment below and one of the team will message you the link when it’s live.

p.s @owenvisser_media you can thank Ben for tidying up the background ;)

And that’s a wrap for MANUP? Mountain 2026.

Our last camp of the year is done. Climbing, hiking, laughing, survival skills, bushcraft and plenty more along the way.

These weekends are a lot of work, but they’re worth every bit of it.

We get to watch the shy blokes slowly grow in confidence. We see the man struggling at the start of the hike somehow end up near the front by the finish. Men arrive not really knowing anyone and leave having shared a weekend they won’t forget.

That’s what MANUP? Mountain is about.

A massive thank you to every man who joined us, everyone who gave up their time to help, and everyone who supports MANUP? and makes weekends like this possible.

Thank you. 💚

🏔️ Our next MANUP? Mountain is 23–25 April 2027.

Want to join us? Check out our website and add your email to the MANUP? Mountain list. We’ll let you know when places open.

“Men don’t talk.”

That’s what we keep hearing.

Yet every time we put men in a room, around a table, on a walk, or round a fire… they talk.

The bigger question is:

Who are they willing to talk to?

This wasn’t scripted.
No experts.
No filters.
Just 6 men having one uncomfortable conversation about trust, purpose, belonging, and why some men stop opening up.

One line kept coming up:

“Are the RIGHT people listening?”

That’s the part society still struggles with.

Hey Community!

The season is upon us, it’s time to be your biggest, boldest self, shine just that much brighter cause you’re the main character. It’s pride season, Baby! & we’re having a Fringe!

Go tell your friends you’ve got 5 weeks of plans. Put your faves in your diaries, show out, and show up.

As we kick off the Suffolk Pride Fringe Festival from Sunday, 31st May to Sunday, 28th June.

☀️🌞☀️

We love showcasing our Pride through a host of events that focus on our core elements of Celebration, Education, Protest & Wellbeing. We’re bringing you opportunities to enjoy comedy, queer cinema, art, poetry, live music and much more; you don't want to miss out.

We would like to remind you all that there’s a little something for everyone during the Fringe, and that all of our events will be taking place in wheelchair-accessible venue spaces.

We say it every year because we mean it…
Pride the way you want!
Pride is for you. Please, check in with yourself to see if it’s the right vibe and if you think you’ll enjoy yourself. Whilst we do aim for free, if not low-cost offerings, costs are ever-changing, so there are some changes to our regular scheduling.

So, if you’re up for it…If you’d like to accept our invite? Come and celebrate the Suffolk Pride Fringe Festival with us. It’s your chance to join in, feel seen, heard and loved by your community!
