This Coaches Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating the coaches behind every early morning, long row, tough race, and defining moment. 🚣‍♀️

The 5:15am launches. Checking the wind for the tenth time. Fixing footplates. Loading boats onto the highest racks. Chasing down missing water bottles and somehow knowing exactly who forgot their seat pad or cox box.

And then there are the moments that make it all worth it: the boat that finally moves together, the athlete who finds another gear, the race plan that comes together, and that feeling when everyone crosses the line knowing they left it all out there.

To our coaches: thanks for showing up for all of it, at all hours of the day. 🤍

💚💛Happy Coach Appreciation Week!

We may be biased but have the VERY BEST coaches at HC!! This week is Coach Appreciation Week so be sure to give a thanks to your coaches for all they do to help you grow as a person and an athlete!

HC coaches, THANK YOU for your passion, dedication, and the countless hours you invest both on and off the field, court, rink, and track. You teach resilience, teamwork, confidence, and leadership—lessons that last far beyond the final whistle.

We’re so grateful for all that you do. 💚💛🐊

another Mile Haddock @haddocksportperformance appreciation post!

We’ve been working with Mike for a long time and the workouts have evolved over the years. Personally, I joined Mike because I wanted to be faster and I noticed at the time Mike was training all the fastest people, Dylan included. I can speak for both of us when I say he’s gotten us to be more athletic and more durable at the back half of our careers. This is my 18th year playing frisbee, and Dylan’s been playing longer than that. We’ve definitely been able to extend our careers longer than we should, and stay at the level we want because of Mike.

I truly love going to the gym now because I love the format of Mike’s workouts. I haven’t been able to run as much as I’ve wanted to the last year because of a nagging foot injury, but the structure of the lifting days has kept me strong and agile enough to take the field and stay explosive and strong through a long tournament weekend.

We’re so lucky to have found Mike and gotten to extend our careers for as long as we have. Looking forward to another season of continuing to grow.

I’ve loved every second of being Dylan’s teammate and friend. One of the best to ever do it, a real game changer, and an even better person. Love you lots ❤️

Mike Haddock (@haddocksportperformance) appreciation post!
•
Claire and I both suck at a few things: posting enough to truly capture how much Mike means to us and how much he’s helped with our careers and formatting IG posts. This is my first ever collaboration with videos and pictures and it took me hours.
•
Anyway, I speak for Claire and myself when I say that we would not have been the players we’ve been if it weren’t for Mike! Collectively we’ve been with Mike for 15 years which is crazy to wrap our heads around. Mike is the most approachable strength and fitness coach you’ll find. His concern is first and foremost for the person and then the athlete. The human element he brings to his passion is what sets him apart.
•
Mike has seen us through numerous injuries (shoulder, foot, toe, knees, IT, Achilles, back, nerve pain, anything else Mike??) and always has us back on the field when it’s time to perform. We’ve been blessed to have both won championships on the domestic and international stage with Mike by our side (9 championships in total!).
•
Who knows how much longer this ride will last but every time we try and sneak away because we feel like he aren’t upholding our end of our partnership, because we feel like we’ve lost a step, or because we’re just plain tired, Mike never let us go. He guided us through uncertainty, wavering levels of commitment, insecurity, and moments of weakness. He has truly been a blessing in our careers. It’s impossible to separate our success away from him. We are beyond happy to share it with Mike.
•
Above is the only photo we have of us three. Wouldn’t call it a gem but it’s all we’ve got! I’ve also included a collection of some highlights thanks to Mike’s hard work.
•
Also Claire appreciation post. I love you forever and always and thanks for being like the coolest ever and my friend through it all. Glad we did this together.
