Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Swimming. Swimming. Swimming. Swimming.

Every trip out, even if its a skunk, is a learning moment. A chance to unlock some hidden key for next time, or a scret clue for 5 years from now.

But its all part of the process. Slow down and enjoy it. And remember...

Ur not bad at fishing. The fish were terrible at biting ur hook. Its all THEIR fault!

Happy Frikkin Friday Y'all!!

U KNOW I had to feed those hungry fish some Candy!

We caught fish on topwater, moving baits, frogs, paddle tails, poppers, and drop shot. Anyone guess what my number 1 bait was? If u guessed the Deadly Nedly, u'd be right.

The key was throwing to very specific spots. For that, I went for something compact but effective. I will have more on the technique and location in some upcoming posts. I really think this info will be helpful for some. Maybe something u wouldn't have realized.

I used some new EWG Ned Heads that the team over at PNWBassCandy did an awesome job painting up for me! I requested out of the ordinary. Not just another black or green pumpkin head.

The ones I used were 1/16 oz. I used several plastics thru the weekend, but these Kraken Kraws... whew! They bring in some BIG BITES!! The movement of the claws, and the color schemes are 🔥. I used 'Goby Jelly' and 'Electric Gill' with the most success. The Bass were literally tearing these baits to shreds!

If u want to draw in the BIG BASS and get MORE BITES, u need to be shopping the Candy Store... PNWBassCandy.com . Drop my code 'YakkinGreg' in the discount code slot and save urself a little scratch when u order.

Give em what they want.
Give em some CANDY!!

2400 followers and counting. 😮 Thank you 🙏 to everyone who takes the time to watch, comment, like, and especially share my content. I love fishing and enjoy sharing the good and bad moments on the water.

I appreciate all of you that I have met on here. Some have become, dare I say, friends, even if just thru the interwebs. There is so much opportunity for networking, sharing information, and just plain good on social media. Even if sometimes that isn't the most obvious thing we see.

Really looking forward to hitting that 2500 mark in the near future!
