POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yesterday’s branding shoot reminded me what it feels like to be on the other side of the camera.

CeeCee and Ken created an environment where I didn’t have to worry about whether I looked awkward or if I was doing it “right.” I could laugh, move around, be serious, and simply be myself.

They even had my type of music (Christian music) playing in the studio, which made the space feel peaceful and welcoming from the moment I walked in, just a great vibe.

With my acting and modeling background, I realized yesterday how much I missed being in front of the camera. It felt familiar, like riding a bike. For a few hours, I got to step back into that world, and I soaked up every second of it.

As a director, though, yesterday reminded me of something I believe with my whole heart.

People do their best work when they feel comfortable.

Whether you’re directing actors, photographing clients, or leading a crew, the environment you create matters. When people feel safe, valued, and encouraged, they stop worrying about being perfect and start giving you something real.

It’s exactly how I strive to run my own film sets, and yesterday was a beautiful reminder of why that matters.

Thank you, CeeCee @pinksaltphotos and Ken with @hyperfocusedmedia for creating such an incredible experience. I can’t wait to see the final photos.

Today isn’t just about taking photos.

It’s about building belief.

Every image, every meeting, every conversation is another step toward bringing December to Remember to the screen.

People see the excitement.

They don’t always see the planning.
The rewrites.
The investor meetings.
The pitch decks.
The strategy.
The countless hours spent turning an idea into something worthy of believing in.

Today’s photoshoot is part of that journey.

One more step toward bringing this story to life, and, I hope, helping people heal and find hope through it.

Big SHOUTOUT to the AMAZING @pinksaltphotos @hyperfocusedmedia for this fun and fabulous shoot! You guys are THE BEST! 🩷🩷🩷 If you need a Bay Area photographer (studio in Benicia) set photography, lifestyle, family shoots - this is your team! 🙌🏼

A screenplay is a dream.
A finished film is proof.

I’ve learned there’s a huge difference between having an idea and actually crossing the finish line.

Budgets change. Locations change. Weather changes. Problems show up. That’s filmmaking.

But at the end of the day, the question becomes:

Can this team execute?

With our previous feature and our proof of concept for December to Remember, we’ve delivered completed projects, stayed resourceful, built festival momentum, and continued learning how to approach filmmaking not just creatively, but strategically.

Because investors aren’t just investing in a story.

They’re investing in the people who can bring that story to life. 🎬

Stepping outside of business meetings and into real moments 🍷✨

Most of the time when we link up, it’s all strategy, moves, and “let’s get to it.” Quick hellos, quick check-ins, then back to work. But this… this was different. Slowing down, wine tasting, real conversations, laughs, and just enjoying each other outside of the grind.

Because let’s be real—building together is powerful, but connecting outside of business hits different. 🥂

Good wine, better company, and a reminder that balance matters.

Follow for more bites, sips, and real-life moments 🍴✨ @foodiemompickyfam

City Hall weddings don’t need anything extra to feel special. Clean, simple, and focused on what actually matters.

This day at city hall in the Bay Area was exactly that—just the right setting, the right energy, and two people fully present with each other. No distractions, no pressure. Just a solid start.

If you’re planning a San Francisco City Hall wedding or a courthouse ceremony and want it documented in a way that still feels elevated and intentional, this is what it can look like.
