RU/WEST: BULATOVA
Bulatova clashes global digital perception with genetic memory. For her, the veranda of an old wooden house serves as a personal assembly point.
Her outfit acts as a deliberate cultural conflict. She forcefully grounds the American pop-code of Calvin Klein denim with local, naive details: plastic daisies and red beadwork.
Within the Russian dacha space, this tricolor transforms into an Erik Bulatov canvas. By projecting the printed architecture onto the reality of the porch, Bulatova strips the imported silhouette of its autonomy—locking Western gloss firmly inside the rigid geometry of the place.

An extraordinary lightness in austerity, collected and dreamy. Summer is over, and the smell of flowers is only in the room. Or maybe in my mind.
