<Way Back Home>워크샵이 시작되었습니다.

Toska. — @vnemoi Aleksei has 360,000 followers. I thought it was 36,000… I should have treated him better :) nope. All same. He seemed a little tense at first, but my jokes and questions soon got him talking. Shostakovich, Repin, Dostoevsky, Rodchenko, Lissitzky, and Sergei Nakariakov. We talked about the war in Russia today, and the world this remarkable friend grew up in. It all brought back the Soviet Union I had long carried in my mind. Toska. There is something deeply beautiful, almost sacred, in all that pain. Yet the suffering behind it is almost too much to face. And it is not just history. It is still happening in our world today. Aleksei completed elite education in both sports and classical music. How hard he must have worked. He chose to leave both worlds behind. Now he lives as a rocker and influencer in a country at war. How he gaze with his eyes. The way he speaks. And still, little by little, a boyish innocence comes through. Beauty. See you soon.
Come over. Let’s hang out. Photo@iamjmsong

If you ask me who the Miles Davis of our era is, or who carries the torch after Roy Hargrove. I wouldn’t hesitate for even a second. Theo Croker. @theocroker Genius.
And yes, Labor missed his performance in Korea. But at least we didn’t miss our friends.
Too Good.
Hoping it’s London. Next.

South Korea 🇰🇷 ❤️ The music is always the destination, but it’s the people, conversations, art, and unexpected moments in between that stay with you. Thank you to the @chilpojazz in Pohang for having us. The hospitality was amazing, the food was on another level (I still smell like beef 😂), and the audience was incredible. Thank you for your energy! Seoul is on another level. Thank you to @iamjmsong for showing us some local food and shopping spots, and for taking us to the Damien Hirst exhibition at the @mmcakorea . Inspired beyond words. I DON’T WANNA LEAVE!!!!! See you in 20 hours, Europe. MORE TOUR!!

MINIMUSE. A brand-space project created by habitant without digital technology. Habitant has always experimented a step ahead of the times. Since Sony Mindspace in 2004, we have continued to seek new answers wherever design and art were needed. We created music, painted, and transformed the façades of mega-towers in Seoul with digital aesthetics at night. From the bridges over the Han River and the waters of Busan, to Hong Kong, Las Vegas, and Milan — we have expanded digital aesthetics into physical space, refining values that align with the spirit of each era. MINIMUSE. This special retail spot began with the brave idea of a leader who believed that wise consumption could become a solution. It is not a place that simply sells small objects. It is an expansion of small but rightful value — and an expression of good intent. Under the principle of creating no unnecessary waste, we developed an operational model, signature products, brand identity, and spatial design that connect us with customers who value fair and responsible consumption. Stripping away excess. Leaving only what matters. This is MINIMUSE.

THEATRE OF SEVEN DREAMS, We are not creating a department store that simply buys and sells products. What we focus on is the relationship between people and space — and the special moments that are born in between. Our inspiration comes from the imagination of Shakespeare, from the small toy beside a child’s bed, from an afternoon nap on a quiet green hill, and from a fleeting dream along a sunset shore. All of these moments come together to tell a single story — a story of dreams that heal everyday life. Now, a 70-meter panorama of dreams breathes new life into a historic department store on Singapore’s Orchard Road. This space will become more than a place for shopping. It will become a journey — one that rekindles a sense of wonder in people’s lives. Sleep — a quiet cure for life. And the Theatre of Seven Dreams, expressed through calm and peaceful imagery, opens a new horizon. Amid the turbulence of the global economy, this transformation was initiated through the vision and leadership of Erwin — Metro Singapore’s young and courageous leader. Soon, under the name SLEEPLAB, it will become a new language for retail and expand far beyond this beginning. We believe this is not simply an attempt to sustain capital or industry. It is a model of the human-centered values retail should embody, and at the same time, a cultural experience to be shared with society — a joyful playground that everyone deserves to enjoy. #metrosingapore #habitant #SLEEPLAB
