Jesus did it, y’all. He truly got me through this Master’s. School felt like a giant I’d never overcome. When I was first admitted to UMD, I chose an online program out of fear. But with God and my husband by my side, I found the courage to switch into a full-time environmental health program and that changed everything.

Ronald, I love you. You challenged me, supported me, and believed in me even in our tiny SE apartment, even before you had a full-time job. You let me explore my calling, and that means the world. You’re a blessing and one day, an amazing daddy/Zaddy.

To my tribe, thank you for listening to all my toxicology rants, for helping me with laptops, internships, encouragement, and tough love when I needed it. Momsie, you’ve been my rock since day one. Your sacrifice raised me. I love you deeply. Thank you also to my little sis @taliahakinmade she helped plan my last minute graduation dinner while fighting a cold… thank you Tah and thank you for being a great friend I love you ❤️❤️🦋

To the Lord thank you. Through diagnosis, heartbreak, setbacks, and struggle… you never left. Every tear on that graduation stage was for you.

Let this encourage you: 7 years for my BA, 5 years for my MPH. You are not too old. It’s not too late. Ask God, leap, and trust Him. He will carry you too.

Love y’all. Thank you for reminding me I could do it. Thank you to my USO @valerieuti for my beautiful Lei ❤️🌊
