First-time milestones, season-best performances and plenty of race plans put into practice this weekend 💪

Matt and Freddie both had strong days in the pro fields, each finishing P11. Matt made the main swim and bike packs for the first time this season at Challenge Peguera Mallorca, while Freddie produced his best run off the bike this season at 70.3 Málaga 🔥

A huge milestone for Lewis, who completed his FIRST IRONMAN in Cascais in 10:29:28. More importantly, he stuck to the plan from start to finish and put together a really well-executed first attempt at the distance 👏

Emma also had a great day in Poreč, taking on her first overseas 70.3 of the season. Tough conditions, a disciplined race and 10th in her age group to show for it.

In Málaga, Alessandro had a challenging bike leg but kept working through the day and still put together a strong overall performance to finish in 4:44:17.

And finally, a long day on two feet for Rob and Davide. Rob came home in exactly 3:00:00 at the Dogbreaker, while Davide ran 3:07:06 at the Amsterdam Marathon 🙌

Different races and different goals, but plenty of good performances and useful steps forward across the team.

Well done, everyone

WORLD CHAMPION 🌈

A huge result for Andrea Nightingale at the World Triathlon Aquabike Championships in Pontevedra, taking the F65–69 world title.

The race itself was anything but straightforward. After getting hit at the start of the swim and losing her goggles, Andrea had to work hard just to get back into the race.

From there, she kept moving forward.

On the bike she steadily picked athletes off, took on the climbs, hit 70kph on the descents, and with 3km to go caught the Swiss athlete she’d been chasing before riding clear to secure the win.

A brilliant example of staying composed, adapting when things go wrong, and still finding a way to deliver when it matters.

F65–69 World Aquabike Champion.

Congratulations Andrea… an exceptional achievement and one we’re incredibly proud of. 💗

A strong finish to the season for Dan 👊

4th overall at the Granite Sprint after a busy few weeks of racing.

With 1km swim, 30km bike and 6km off-road run, Dan kept moving forward through the race and was still right in the fight late on.

He was understandably a little disappointed to lose 3rd close to the finish, but there’s plenty to take from the day…especially with this being his third race in three weeks.

More importantly, he finished the season enjoying the racing and feeling like there was still something left to give.

A really solid way to sign off the tri season.

Well done Dan 👏

Five weeks ago, Henri was in hospital with a serious illness.

Five weeks later, he finished GraniteMan.

2km swim. 80km bike. 18km run.

It wasn’t the race he wanted, but sometimes the result isn’t the point.

Getting back to the start line, putting the day together, and finishing after the previous few weeks is a pretty big win in itself.

A strong reminder that progress doesn’t always look like a PB or a podium.

Sometimes it just looks like getting through it.

Well done, Henri. 👊

A strong day out in Belgrade for Will. 🇷🇸

13th overall at IRONMAN 70.3 Belgrade in 4:09, with another performance that shows the direction he’s heading.

The most encouraging part is that he came away happy with the performance, grateful for the support around him, and still feeling like there’s plenty more to come.

That’s a good place to be.

Results are moving forward, confidence is growing, and this still feels like the early stages.

We’re only just getting started.

A big step forward for Freddie at Challenge Samarkand 🇺🇿

7th place and, by his own assessment, probably his best result to date in professional triathlon.

The result matters, but the bigger takeaway is that the consistency is starting to show. He raced further up the field, stayed competitive against a strong group, and came away with a performance he can genuinely be proud of.

There’s still a gap to close, but that’s exactly what makes this exciting.

Consistency. Progress. Potential. More to come.

Bala triathlon run by @aahevents. This was not really a course that suited me, but was really fun. The mountains of north Wales always make for a spectacular backdrop. It was only ever my intention to enjoy this one( but still put some effort in). I actually enjoyed the swim despite a horrendous cramp in my hamstring when I stood up, possibly cost me a minute stretching before I could walk. Bit of a trot to the bike. Which I actually found 🎉. Ok T1 and off to the mount line. A nice shout of encouragement from @iestynharrett unfortunately my usual support @merfynkingofthewelsh was at the campsite looking after our new foster puppy. And then off to the hills. The bike was easily my favourite part. A lack of speed against TT bikes cost a few places, but I passed more than passed me. Turn around came quicker than I expected and then a tail wind back. A slight pinch in my back required stretching on a couple of descents but still enjoyed it. I had a bit of back and forth with another athlete, which was nice, as we encouraged each other every time. Nice clean fast dismount and a good(for me) T2. And out onto the run. Unfortunately about 1km in I discovered an issue with my right leg. Which I think was probably caused by a pinched nerve as it carried on into the next day. But I was determined not to dnf. So with a bit of jeffing I kept going. Took a good 10 minutes longer than it should have. But I did find someone else struggling just as much, so we pushed each other all the way. Bala I will probably be back. @aahevents @entire.pc @triathloncymru @guernseytriclub @merfynkingofthewelsh @swimsmoothci @scribecycling @3tbike @teampurpose #triathlon #triathlete #resilience #eryrinationalpark #raceforfun

Malachi’s progression as a pro this season has been seriously impressive.

At IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea, in a very competitive professional field, he finished 7th … his best pro result to date.

What stands out most is the jump from last year. He was around 10 minutes faster than his 2025 performance, while also producing his highest bike normalised power to date.

The result moved him from 194th to 154th in the world rankings, and importantly, he’s starting to look increasingly comfortable racing deep into strong professional fields rather than simply trying to hang on.

There was still frustration after a small crash cost him time and momentum, which probably says a lot about where his expectations are heading.

That’s the exciting bit.

The results are improving, the performances are becoming more complete, and there’s clearly more to come.

On the rise. 📈

A Guernsey Island Record 🇬🇬🔥

Huge performance from Megan Chapple in her current home city, at the Sydney Marathon, running 2:47:19 taking around 2 minutes off both her PB and the previous island record, and finishing 26th female overall.

The standout part for us isn’t just the result, though. Megan described this as her most consistent marathon training block to date.

That consistency showed when it mattered.

Weeks of stacking the work, staying patient and getting the basics right ultimately produced the breakthrough on race day.

A brilliant result and a very deserved record. Well done Megan 👏
