POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

in issue 133, isabelle pearl love-dack (@isabellepearl) reflects on her career, grief, healing, motherhood and the beautiful legacy of finn’s oyster bar (@finnsoysterbar).

“a lot of people ask me: 'who's finn?' and then i'm forced to talk about it, which i think is a really healthy thing to do. it is still always hard. but i think it's a nicer way of being than just not talking about him.”

thank you, isabelle, for trusting frankie with your story ❤️ pick up a copy of issue 133 at your local supermarket or stockist to read the full piece.

thank you for having me @frankiemagazine for the latest edition 💕 a surreal experience after buying many copies of this iconic magazine for most of my adult life! In design school at @aftrs I particularly looked forward to each edition which always included beautiful artwork as a keepsake poster / wrapping paper featuring incredible Australian women’s art and craft 🙏🏻
A beautiful cathartic experience with words by @dellavreeland and film photography by @bobbydazzlerphotography ❤️‍🩹

Is there anything more perfect than an oyster?

@isabellepearl runs @finnsoysterbar which offers just-shucked bliss at events. She also works for @shuckdontchuck, which collects oyster shells to use in reef rehab.

Finn’s is named for Bella’s son Finn, who died in 2019 aged 13 months. The grief is always present but there’s joy too.

Happy New Year beautiful oyster lovers ❤️🎆🦪
This year I have pledged to myself to put in more effort with posting more often and just a lot more work for this business online and social media. I promise to keep y’all more updated on markets and events.
Website is being overhauled and relaunched in the coming months with lots of cute new offerings and an easier way to book the oyster bar for events.
The same goes for the work I’ve been doing for @shuckdontchuck which has really gained momentum and I need to really make that a bigger priority this year and give it the attention and focus it deserves.
Anyway this weekend you can find me at @twilight_market_anglesea tomorrow and @torquay_wine_store on Sunday arvo ☀️ Come say hi 👋

This weekend!! On Saturday Finn’s Oyster Bar will be serving fresh @wapengorockswildorganicoysters for the second @farm.my.school in Colac - a project very close to our hearts ❤️ the first one in 2022 was an awesome weekend to be part of, building a farm at a school with my 2 year old Ted which is now a thriving functioning farm providing for our community on the Bellarine.
Aside from oysters I am intensely curious and passionate about soil. Did you know using shell waste as biochar or grit can boost soil health massively? It’s something we would like to do with @shuckdontchuck outside of the reef regeneration projects and create another circular solution with the shells and offering farms and agricultural projects the opportunity to add the incredible benefits of shell waste to soil. All shells waste from this weekend will go back into improving the new farms soil health.
@b_alternative is hugely involved with Farm My School and will be doing reusable and wash station this weekend for the build! Plus used the shell truck to transport a huge amount of used coffee grounds through @_reground 🙌🏼
Super excited and register to volunteer if you can the vibes will be impeccable 🥰🦪♻️ come say hi!

Tomorrow! Tuesday 28th October 🦪🥖🥐 slinging oysters at @ketbaker Wallington 📍 After yesterday’s insane weather and rain we have quite a few oysters left over! Miek the legend has allowed a Finn’s pop up at the bakery. It’s always been a dream to pair freshly shucked oysters with the best bread in the world. Julia Child (Mastering The Art Of French Cooking) had oysters, rye bread and butter as the starter for her first ever meal in France that inspired her culinary career. We invite you to try the most incredible sourdough rye paired with two native Australian oysters - Sydney rocks from Merimbula NSW and Angasi locally grown by @seabounty in Portarlington. Come say hi 👋 #oysters #rye #butter #ketbaker #finnsoysterbar

Backing it up this Sunday with two events! After the morning at Hooked On Bellarine in Portarlington we’ll be heading straight to @ketbaker Belmont store to sling oysters for the last hour of the inaugural Ket Doof 🪩🦪🥖 can’t wait to boogie and smash some Sydney Rocks together (maybe even a special local Angasi if you’re quick) ❤️ #freshlyshucked #oysters #sourdough #community #hookedonbellarine

We’re so proud to share one of our biggest (and most entertaining) productions yet…The new campaign for Chris’ Greek Set Yoghurt.

Chris’ wanted more than a product ad they wanted a story that celebrates heritage, humour, and the heart of Greek family life. So we went all in, creating a production packed with personality, pride and a few cheeky nods to a beloved Greek classic.

Huge thanks to our amazing clients, cast and crew for bringing this to life, we couldn’t be prouder. #advertising #creative #creativeagency #advertisingagency #creativity #greek #greekyoghurt
