A little reminder that growth doesn’t happen overnight. 🖤

I’ve been putting in the work to try new techniques, learn different styles, and push myself outside of what feels comfortable. And honestly, the biggest game changer for me has been practice + consistency.

Showing up even when the line isn’t perfect. Trying again when something doesn’t go how I pictured it. Learning from every single piece and slowly building confidence along the way.

Still learning. Still experimenting. Still very much a work in progress. But I’m proud of the progress. 🥹🖊️

Just gonna keep showing up and getting better. One tattoo at a time. 🖤

Thirty-one years ago, I became your mom.Last week, I had the gift of spending a few days leading up to your birthday with you. I couldn’t help but think about those same days 31 years ago, waiting for you to arrive.

Three weeks ago, after almost 6 years, I closed out my time as Creative Director at @centralchurchplano. I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for the time I got to invest at this church. I was feeling pretty lost in 2020, wondering what was next for my life. I remember praying to God that he would give me one shot. One shot to pour myself into something meaningful. Not long after that, I found myself stepping into this role during a season where I needed it the most. I had the privilege of working alongside some of my best friends and the honor of leading a team of amazing people that will always be a part of me. the last 6 years are proof of the faithfulness of God and a testament to what can happen when you choose to invest your life in something bigger than you. I’m grateful for the love and kindness that has been shown to my family during this time and will never forget it. We love our Central family so much!

Though I’m stepping away from full-time vocational ministry, I’m so excited to begin a new season at @theworshipinitiative as the new Creative Director where I get to help build a movement of people singing to Jesus. I’m grateful for a God that orders our steps and opens the right doors at the right time!
