Doing it hard? You’re blocking your creative flow. Less thought more spontaneity…..
Do a painting in 5 minutes , stop overthinking.
Have fun🌸

Lucent Strata.
The surface is translucent, lightweight, and mailable, with a quiet depth that responds beautifully to illumination. It has been developed through an intuitive, process-led practice, and I believe it holds strong potential for integration within contemporary lighting design — from bespoke art, fixtures to architectural and residential applications.

Thankyou @5.r.studio and @designworxnz for the images.
What a great time we had in the studio workshop painting textile. A studio filled with #interior designers from out of town. Some painted silk others lampshades others cushion covers. The ideas and design was bustling…. All whilst having fun and a sip of 🥂🍾

Next layer of paint on my large scale work, “salty Waters” 2m x3m.
It takes many layers to build the perfect patina.
The shapes are responding to the architectural detail of these antique Venice walls.
