I grew up in my Oma’s sewing room.

That’s probably where my obsession with textiles started. Before I knew anything about interiors, I knew fabric. I knew craftsmanship. I knew that the smallest details could completely change how something felt.

Years later I became a designer, but nothing really changed. I was still chasing that same feeling- that a home should make you exhale the second you walk in, finding beauty and peace within the details.

I’ve always loved sleep. I love sinking into a bed that makes the rest of the world disappear for eight hours. I’ve never understood why we spend so much time designing our homes and so little time thinking about the place we spend a third of our lives.

So I designed the pillows I wanted.

Really good freaking pillows.

I’m not interested in gatekeeping good sleep. If I’ve figured out how to make getting into bed the best part of the day, why would I keep that to myself?

That’s HAUS.

HAUS started as a standard I wanted everyone to experience.

Something that once felt like a luxury, I strived for it to feel like home.
Boutique hotel sleep.
Luxury comfort.
Elevated essentials.

I designed these pillows to bring that feeling into your space.

Microgel inserts that hold their shape, give that sink-in feel, and still support you through the night. It’s simple… but not basic.

Seeing them in your homes and hearing how they’re changing the way you sleep is everything I hoped for. And watching it come to life has been something I’m truly grateful for.

This is just the beginning.
Welcome to HAUS. 🤍

What a wonderful year ✨

Feeling incredibly grateful for every client who trusted me to create thoughtful, beautiful additions to their homes — from full design concepts to custom upholstery and wall finishes. Each project was truly special, and I’m so thankful for the creativity and collaboration along the way.

Already feeling inspired and excited for 2026 and the unique projects it will bring. Thank you for the trust, the support, and an amazing year 🤍

It is time to reintroduce myself…

I’ve been described as a Jill of all Trades and I think it’s safe to say that at The Underline, it’s a mirror of just that. Growing up, my family would say “That Jasmine can do anything”, and I’ve prided myself on that through the years. Having been in the design world for 9 years now, and understanding both the designer and trades perspective, I have a clear vision and understanding of what a project requires from start to finish.

With a heavy focus on bespoke wall finishes like lime wash, Venetian glaze and plaster art, I pride myself in creating beautiful feature walls and surfaces that elevate a home’s beauty with organic flare.

At a young age, I was taught how to sew by my Oma, which originally inspired and eventually transitioned into building and upholstering custom furniture. In my studio space, there is a dedicated area where these custom upholstery pieces are created for fellow designers, millworkers and home owners across the GTA.

Finally, I offer complete design packages for those looking to renovate their spaces. I have been trusted and blessed to fully design multiple homes and businesses. However no job is too small if you’re looking for help with a single room or area.

My creative style leans into the bold and moody, with little fear of colour, patterns and textures.

I can’t wait for more upcoming projects and to continue to create a beautiful world within your home.

Big thank you to @robertmauriellphotography for these images!

One light. No modifier. Just a curtain and the right angle.
I placed a bare bulb outside the studio window, letting it slice through the curtain to create a narrow beam of light.

When the light or the forecast refuses to cooperate, that’s when experience matters most.

Which portrait speaks to you most?
