PROPER PROJECTION ANGLE 📐

Understanding where the proper hip height position should be, is critical to how effectively you are able to horizontally project.

ℹ️ Here is a breakdown of it ☝🏾

🗣️comment: Familia for more info.

The best coaches in the game aren’t afraid to keep learning.

Great minds coming together to challenge one another, sharpen their craft, and push the standard of coaching forward.

When leaders become students, the entire game evolves.

Iron sharpens iron. ⚔️

CHAMPIONS STILL BUILD.

State champion. School record holder. History maker.

And still putting in work in the offseason.

Bronx Ely is headed to THE SUMMIT™.

🏆 2026 6A 300H State Champion
🏆 3x SWC Champion
⚡ 37.97 - GPHS 300H School Record
⚡ First sophomore 6A 300H State Champion in OSAA history
⚡ Fastest sophomore in 6A history

The accolades are impressive.

The mindset behind them is the point.

The athletes at the top don’t stop developing when the season ends. They study. They sharpen. They build.

🚨 PARENTS OF YOUNG ATHLETES: MORE ISN’T ALWAYS BETTER. (Do your research & ask questions)

Youth sports have changed—and young athletes are paying the price. It’s a billion dollar industry that preys on “dreams”

⚾ UCL injuries increased 59% from 2016–2022, with ages 15–19 accounting for more than half of UCL reconstruction (Tommy John) procedures.

⚽ 🥎Year-round specialized female athletes have shown a 31% higher risk of injury.

🏀 High-school basketball players who played year-round had approximately 2X the injury risk.

Today it’s:

⚾ Fall baseball
🏐 Year-round club volleyball
⚽ Club soccer
🏀 AAU/travel basketball
🥎 Travel softball
🏃 Camps, showcases & tournaments

One season rolls right into the next.

Kids need time to RECOVER, GROW, GET STRONGER and MENTALLY RESET.

🧠 The mental break matters too.

Youth athletes should PLAY their sport—not WORK it year-round.

💪 That’s why a TRUE OFFSEASON and proper Strength & Conditioning matter.

Give them time to:

✅ Recover
✅ Build strength & athleticism
✅ Develop different movement skills
✅ Mentally recharge
✅ MISS their sport

Sometimes the best thing for a young athlete isn’t another season.

IT’S AN OFFSEASON.

💪 DEVELOP THE ATHLETE.
🧠 PROTECT THE MIND.
❤️ KEEP THE LOVE OF THE GAME.
🛡️ PROTECT THE FUTURE.
