JUSTICE FOR NOLAN WELLS! The National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression strongly condemns the grand jury decision not to proceed to trial with the case of Nolan Wells. As an organization centered around uplifting the pain and struggle of people around the country fighting against racist policing, right wing violence, and political repression, we extend our heartfelt solidarity to Nolan’s parents and community. At a time when Black people are once again being targeted by racist violence across the country, we join the Wells family in demanding transparency and justice.  It took about an hour for an all white jury in Mississippi to find Roy Bryant and J.W. Milam, Emmett Till’s murderers, not guilty. Despite a wealth of evidence linking the killing of Till to them and Carolyn Bryant, Roy Bryant’s wife, the jurors ignored or were not given crucial evidence. The white racists and corrupt judicial system in support of his killing united to keep the real details of the case silent. The Bryants went on to live the rest of their lives while Emmett Till’s family got nothing except mourning. Although it’s been 71 years since Till’s killing, the racism at the core of Mississippi’s legal system hasn’t changed much. The case of Nolan Wells leaves many unanswered questions. Why would Nolan allow his friends to leave him on an island alone without his phone and keys? Why did the Mississippi Department of Public Safety and the office of District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath deem Well’s death a drowning despite the blunt force trauma he suffered? Why won’t these offices release the autopsy report to press outlets?... Swipe to read the full statement.

The Mississippi Attorney General’s office has declared that the police murder of 1-year-old child Kohen Wiley was ‘justified’. This ruling is outrageous and shameful, and we condemn it in the strongest terms. By clearing the killer Senatobia PD officer, who fired into a fleeing vehicle in a parking lot for no discernable reason, after seeing the child- the message from the state is clear: there are no red lines, no circumstances more obviously wrong, and no victim too young or innocent to escape the lethal violence of racist policing. From any angle, the MS AG’s ruling is at odds with the truth and facts in this case. On June 14th, officers from Senatobia PD and Tate County’s SO chased and fired into a vehicle carrying Kohen, his mother, and his aunt who was injured in the incident. They knew a baby was in the car. The only video evidence shows the car driving away from officers. The independent autopsy revealed that shots were not fired into the front of the vehicle, but into the side, proving that the vehicle was not driving towards the officers. They know all of this, but the state's highest office legitimizes this murder... Swipe to read the full statement. Justice for Kohen Wiley!

🚨ALL OUT FOR OCTOBER 7!🚨 ⏰️ October 7, 6 PM 📍4413 Town Center Pkwy, meet at corner ⚠️ Park away from Publix parking lot 3 years of accelerated genocide, 3 years fighting back! We cannot give up the fight for a free Palestine! As we speak, Gaza continues to fight for its life under siege and rubble as over 100,000 have been martyred. Zionist settlers expand attacks and displacement. The IOF attacks expand all across Palestine, and beyond. Bombardment in Lebanon has left at least 9,000 martyred, and over 30,000 injured. Now the US has been plunged into a war in Iran. Make no mistake: the war in Iran began in Palestine. We reject these US attacks on life, dignity, and self-determination. STOP THE GENOCIDE! END US AID TO ISRAEL! NO WAR ON IRAN! NO WAR ON LEBANON!

Today is Anthony Gay's birthday, and we in the National Alliance are holding his memory close as we continue to build on the struggles he waged in life. In 2024, we founded the Anthony Gay Task Force on Prison Conditions where we coordinate work across our chapters and affiliates related to the conditions in U.S. prisons and jails, which are among the most repressive, violent, and deadly in the world. From Philadelphia to Atlanta to the Lowcountry, our chapters are waging battles against medical neglect, wrongful death, torture, and all violations of the rights of the incarcerated. Contact us at nationalaarpr@gmail.com to get involved or discuss starting a chapter in your city. Anthony Gay's memory reminds us to keep fighting against the racist system of mass incarceration that stole his life. LONG LIVE ANTHONY GAY!

On 7/22/26, Corey Ruiz was killed by Madison PD after being pinned down by multiple officers. Wisconsin has an unfortunate history of racist police crimes, but that history continues to be met by communities fighting back against killer cops! Justice for Corey Ruiz!

🚨 CALL TODAY 6/16: DEMAND ACTION ON CORNELIUS JACKSON’S PISA APPLICATION 🚨 For nearly 20 years, Cornelius Jackson has been incarcerated while maintaining his innocence. His case raises serious concerns about the use of incentivized informants, undisclosed deals, and the fairness of the proceedings that led to his conviction. Cornelius has submitted a PISA application to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office seeking meaningful review of his case. His family and supporters are asking the HCAO to move beyond promises and take real action. ☎️ Call the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office and respectfully demand: • A thorough review of Cornelius Jackson’s PISA application. • Transparency regarding the status of his case. • A timely decision based on the evidence and concerns presented. • A commitment to justice over procedural delays. For nearly two decades, Cornelius’s family has waited for answers. Justice delayed is justice denied. Please be firm, and persistent. Every call matters.
