Behind every course at A Grateful Plate was a chef who brought their own story, creativity, and heart to the table.

We’re incredibly grateful to Shelbi Nation, Marni Slack, Skyler Hill, Salimah Abdul-Hakim, Jessica Baston, and Kayla Robison for sharing their talents and creating a dining experience that was about so much more than incredible food.

A Grateful Plate was an unforgettable evening built around community, collaboration, and the belief that gathering around a table can create something bigger than any one of us.

Thank you for the hours of planning, prepping, creating, plating, pivoting, and pouring yourselves into every detail. A Grateful Plate would not have been A Grateful Plate without you.

We’re grateful for the food you made, but even more grateful that you said yes to being part of this table. ❤️

@chef_works always has me ready in style and purpose for smashburger days. This heavy bib apron works to protect me from the heat of the grill, allowing me to keep pumping out orders fast! 126 burgers in 2 hours fast!

Thank you to everyone who came out and smashed! Every burger you eat funds two meals to someone in need. It's incredible that we almost sell out every time! Today we fed 126 of you which means 252 meals can be provided to @soulgoodscincinnati mission to help our feed insecure community. THANK YOU!

SAVE THE DATE: our next smashburger popup will be Halloween themed on Oct 29th!

This past week, 7 plus events, the aliveness and joy. THANK YOU!

To be exhausted from this work this week, I am grateful. Goodness, a glimpse of what I get to do.

Popcorn for dinner, or a road snack, or girl dinner, or my Gaddy called and got me out of bed.

These babies, thank you. Wild that they’re 15, 17 and 25 this year.

This juggle and running mom is a lot sometimes, I know, and I know they see the work, the dedication and the care it creates. I am so lucky to have these 3.

Being with people who see you, love you, have picked you up when you’ve fallen. Beyond grateful for this one.

And this one too. Besties turned we have time for a pedicure if we can work during it. Thanks for managing all these tabs.

And this one, @mollielt I am so grateful for this past year, building with you, supporting visions and ideas. Grateful to call you friend.

And this team. We’re walking through a major transition, good things take time.

I am so proud. I am so hopeful. I am so excited. I am so honored.

We saw each other 3 days in a row, it was so good to catch up, to be around someone who makes me laugh, who helps me book flights he’s not even taking with me, who has helped me pick out so many outfits and who drove to MadTree on Saturday to meet me so he could carry the 8 cases is Sway to my car.

I love us. ❤️

@natjooones a champion of champions. Thank you for jumping in to make last night even that much more fun. 🤩

I bet folks love when I take selfies and they don’t know, but I love them. @rhoeweler I love you, I am a better leader because of you, I am so grateful to have a woman like you believe in a woman like me.

Just noting I drank a lot of water this weekend too.

When you call him and ask him to pick you up because you can’t dance anymore and then ask for Mikey’s Late Night Slice Vegan pepperoni ❤️

Last night was incredible. I have so much to say. I’ve already cried too much so I’m going to just wait a minute.

But this team, thank you God, thank you Creator, thank you Great Spirit.

Mercy, what a gift.

Late night fries with favorites.

About last night ❤️

We are less than a week away from A Grateful Plate, and the LIVE Auction is bringing something seriously delicious to the table.

Chef Jessica Baston, owner of 86xList, is donating a private Paella Night for six, valued at $1,200. Think bold Latin American flavors, restaurant-level dining in your own home, and an evening designed entirely around good food and good company.

Chef Jessica and her team will bring the full experience to you, preparing a Latin American-inspired paella dinner in your home, complete with service, plateware, and kitchen clean-up.

This is just one of the incredible experiences you’ll have the chance to bid on at A Grateful Plate on September 20, where we come together for an unforgettable night in support of the Power to Pursue Scholarship Fund.

Want a seat at the table and a shot at taking this experience home? Tickets are still available. Grab yours at the link in bio.
