I’ve heard so much about the flatirons that it feels like a Colorado initiation to climb one! So we did it and it was absolutely beautiful! Not going to lie, it was a little scary 😅
Thanks @jeff_t_wright and @prittyright for the great company!

We had Good Evans 5.10d on the Black Wall to ourselves!
Gorgeous day out on Mt Evans!

The trigger wire on my BD #3 broke on the roof pitch. 🤷‍♀️

Maybe some fishing line would help in an emergency if I needed to use it again. Good thing I didn’t.

The Diamond is a magical place! Worth taking the gear for a walk to and then going to some good DJ sets after.

From my journal:

To find something meaningful,
you have to become small.

Because the truth is
I am small on the wall.

And instead of fighting that,
I’m learning to use it.

More precision.
More patience.
Less proving.

For years, the Naked Edge in Eldo sat at the top of my climbing bucket list. On May 31st, Jeff and I finally climbed it.

Some routes become legendary because they’re old. Others because they’re dangerous. The Naked Edge has earned its reputation because it’s just… that good.

Every pitch has a completely different personality: delicate runout slabs, finger cracks, wild traverses, and a steep, pumpy hand crack that routinely spits climbers off.

I underestimated how physical it would be, but topping out made every move worth it. The exposure just keeps building until it feels like you’re climbing in the sky above Eldo.

One of my favorite parts of climbing classics is imagining everyone who has stood in those same places before you. Decades of climbers solving the same sequences, trusting the same tiny edges, clipping the same pitons, and earning the same incredible summit.

Thanks @katekelleghan for the incredible beta in your speed record video!

Some climbs you do once. This is one I already can’t wait to climb again. Mostly because now I know what I’m doing… and because I want another shot at that last pitch’s boulder problem… and that hand crack.

Thanks, Jeff, for another unforgettable adventure and for always being up for another classic. ❤️

“Live a full life, travel abundantly, find yourself.”

Three pillars that have been painfully absent from my life for years, the last one’s still in the works, but we’re getting so much closer.

All of you surround me with such intense love. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d see a sliver of this, much less that I’d even be worthy to deserve it.

I will work tirelessly every day to repay you, with laughs, smiles, space, and stoke to the naked full moon 🌕

I fucking love my friends, and they help me to love myself ❤️✨🤘
