May 25th, 2025, I realized I’m the main character in my life and I’m in love with her and she’s pretty amazing. And I wish that for every single one of you reading this! Don’t hate me, keep reading…

For so long I was so afraid to do a lot of things. I was so deeply insecure. I actually got called “butt chin” in high school for my cleft chin. I would stand on the side of the room and hide so people wouldn’t look at me and I wouldn’t smile bc I was afraid people didn’t like me. I always cared what others thought. It ruled my life. Really, I didn’t like me! I used to do musical theatre and perform on stage but was terrified to take a bow. My mom would say I would always hide behind the other cast members because I was shy. But not anymore. Now, I have a deep shining light inside my heart.

The power is in stillness. It’s in a deep knowing and understanding of who you are in your heart and being in complete love with the person you are becoming. Each day I focus to realign with that girl inside me. And I love her so much! 🙏

Here’s what I’ve gotten from doing things ALONE:

. It’s given me independence!
. It allows me to embrace deep awareness.
. It creates confidence!
. It enables me to observe others without judging.
. It ignites creativity.
. It allows me to be still and present.
. It gives me freedom.
. It allows for spontaneities.
. It’s opened so many doors to new friendships and interactions.

Doing things alone is remarkable and I encourage everyone to really enjoy being by themselves. When you can get to a place where you love your own company more than anyone else, that’s true love. Because YOU are ultimately the love of your life. If you really think about it, you’re the only one you’re guaranteed to be with for eternity. 🩵

Dressed for how I feel… on a Parisian holiday!

I keep saying that I truly believe we create the life we live. Love beginning my mornings slowly, with kind gratitude, grace, softness, and love.

It’s taken me many years to create the life I am living now.

Every day that I wake up, I praise the creator for the beauty all around me. Little ways that I give thanks back to the universe:

1. Tending to my garden and all the creatures who live here.
2. Keeping each space in my home organized, clean & beautiful!
3. Creating beauty in all the cakes I bake to give joy to others.
4. Spending time writing my appreciation with the aroma of incense.
5. Bringing nature inside every room and inside my fridge!

Sip in all sorts of deliciousness with these non-alcoholic mocktails that I made with filtered water, sparkling water and fresh local fruits as well as vibrant herbs from my garden.

“Pretty in Blue” features @lonestarbotanicals blue spirulina, @gerolsteiner_usa sparkling water with local blood oranges from @mesaproduce

“She’s all that” is filled with fresh cranberries, garden lemons, blueberries and garden mint.

“Blushing Dew” is infused with rosemary, lemon-limes from my garden, cucumber and rose!

Our bodies are sacred! May this inspire you to not drink alcohol or not drink as much and choose healthier options!

This is the story of a little butterfly who came into my life.

Her wing was broken and she couldn’t fly. I gave her sugar water and fresh flowers from my garden and said to the universe, “if she can’t fly, maybe she could have babies.”

And one day, I found a baby caterpillar growing right next to her in her flowers.

I’ve named the butterfly Poppy and the caterpillar Star. Star will be born hopefully by the New Year and it would be incredible if they could meet. Though I’m not sure if Poppy will ever be able to fly. If she can’t ever fly during her lifetime, she will be so loved, living safely with me, with fresh flowers and sugar water.

These two miracles are just too good not to share!

The sugar plum fairy came a little early this year! Two loves of mine…sweets and Christmas and it’s never too early to start getting ready for the holidays!

These two desserts are apple, walnut and ginger stuffed honey glazed pears and an almond plum clafoutis.

Hello sweet September! Yesterday it rained for a moment and I got a huge rush. 22 days until the season.. crackling fireplaces, warm apple cider, all the lovely fall foliage, cinnamon and spice desserts, cozy socks, plaid. Oh how I love the cold holidays! Today I baked apple stuffed pears with ginger and honey and an almond plum clafoutis! What are you craving most?
