POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One year ago this month, we came back to Florida and said yes to what God was doing at Alive Church. We had no idea what this next year would hold.
Yesterday, I had the privilege of preaching my very first Sunday message: The Power of the Truth: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth.
There is power in abiding in God’s Word because His Word is truth. What we stay rooted in will shape us, sustain us, and lead us.
Looking back at this last year, I’m reminded that God can do more with one surrendered yes than we could ever imagine.
Grateful for where He’s brought us. Expectant for where He’s taking us.

Another Sunday, another reminder that who God says we are matters more than the labels we’ve believed or the voices we’ve followed.

Our new series, Verified: Unfollowing the False You, has already been so impactful. Grateful for what God is doing in our church and expectant for all that’s still to come.

See you next Sunday, @alivegnv.

They say the average person speaks somewhere between 13 to 30 million words over 5 years (definitely 30 million for me!🤣)…and out of all the words I’ve spoken in 5 years, my favorite ones have been with you!

From random late night/morning talks, (even when I start the conversations way to early in the AM…I should know better then that lol) to laughing at things that shouldn’t be funny, to working through life together, every word, every moment, every memory.

5 years of loving you.
5 years of choosing you.
5 years of pictures!…(The photo dump explains that lol)
5 years of growing, learning, and building something beautiful together.
And the best part is…We’re just getting started baby!

Here’s to millions more words…but more importantly, a lifetime of love behind them!

I love you little bear!❤️‍🔥

Some people say Valentine’s Day is just another day…and in a way, it is. lol But when your everyday includes a woman who loves you, supports you, prays for you, stands beside you in every season of life no matter where God calls you too, it becomes the best ‘just another day’ I could ever ask for. Happy Valentine’s Day Jenn baby/little bear! You the best, don’t ever forget it!❤️‍🔥

2026, we are here, and we are so thankful for God’s provision and faithfulness in our lives! This season has been one that Jenn and I are extremely grateful for, and honestly, I would even call it an “awe” season because we are in awe of all that God has brought us through and brought us to! And if you asked me what I’m most looking forward to in 2026, I would say... waking up day after day next to my precious wife, loving her more and more every day, and being the godly husband I’m called to be. Because, gentlemen, your wife is your first ministry! As the Scripture says best in Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” It’s the intentional, sacrificial love that Jesus shows us that will sustain us and hold us together in every season. Because when feelings fail us, faith carries us! Come on somebody!
And here’s what’s so cool about living this Scripture out for me…it’s easy!..It’s easy because I have a wife who loves so big and who is so easy to love! I have a wife who has sacrificed a lot of her time and even her own dreams to follow my dreams, which is now our dream together! I have a wife who shows up…day in and day out! Any time I’m leading worship or speaking, or there’s an event going on, she’s right there cheering me on, serving alongside me, pastoring, and loving people! This is how it’s been year after year, and this is just who Jenn is: someone who loves big with sacrificial love, someone who genuinely cares for people, and someone who moves with purpose and intention! So, with all that being said, I want to give honor where honor is due and the biggest 2026, day one, shout-out to my girl, my world, my Jenn baby! I truly believe this is going to be the best year yet in our marriage and in our ministry! I love you so much, and I’m excited for what God has in store for us in this season! 2026…Ready-Set-Let’s gooo!!!

Said “see ya later” to some of our dearest friends.

@caleb_hage and @jenn.hage these past few years, getting to do ministry with you all, has been so much fun! You both have given so much to both worship and family ministries at SCC and we are better because of it. Your tenacity, commitment, faithfulness and JOY is what makes this goodbye SO bittersweet. 😭

Thank you for loving me, loving Galen and loving my family so well.

I’m so excited for this new season and we are cheering you on from Augusta. 🎉
