When one of your own make it we celebrate it!!

Current Doctor and during the Pandemic writes a song that many (including her manager) don’t want the world to hear.

She doesn’t back down, stays true to herself and releases it independently.

The people celebrate it, share it, download it, buy it and it quickly flies up the charts and has hit number 2 in the country!!

When I was sent the track and heard Iyah’s story, I knew the people would love it.

When I witnessed the passion, enthusiasm, drive and spirit that both iyah and cowriter and producer Danny have, there was no doubt at all that they could make it to the top.

I told them very earlier on I was almost as excited and proud as them for the song to be successful. And I am jumping up and down like a little kid right now at Christmas.

I knew with the people power we actually could do this. It took a singing doctor to show the world what we are capable of when we stand together.

We’ve all had such a long and strenuous journey the last 4 years. It’s great to see us get a win. This is massive!! It’s a real middle finger to anyone and everyone that called us names, took our jobs, and tried to create their own narrative.

The truths coming out and the people are awakening and rising.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported @iyahmayhem @danny_duke_ and the track.

Go listen to it again on iTunes. Go save it. Go favourite it. Go buy it.

Let’s get it to #1!!

@para.foundation would like to thank you, the @community4para - in one week, you raised over $40,000 for new arrivals to Australia. This is the equivalent to the airfares for 2 families, ten people, six months rent for 10 people and food vouchers. We have a long way to go to reach our goal of $175,000 for the month of May to help 750 new arrivals. The folks arriving have NOTHING. No government assistance, no medical aid, no insulin or antidepressants on the PBS, it’s all full cost. No housing, no food. They arrive with what they are carrying and need your help.

It seems like a huge amount of money but is a drop in the ocean in what is needed to keep people safe.

You are the ones making this happen.

All money goes directly to PARA and does not pass through public hands, it is completely tax deductible and legit!

This weeks efforts have been a ray of light in a very dark time, we can do this together 🖤
