This past week has been amazingly theatrical. A walkthrough a school theater that wants to do musicals again with the beautiful Bob Danner to an inspirational performance of Footloose at the Milwaukee Rep to middle school auditions for Roosevelts dinner theater to the Thorn created by my friends John and Sarah Bolin. Then to Sioux Falls to see Masquerade, a truly groundbreaking work by Brent Grosvenor. Then back for auditions with my dear friend JaRahn Leveston. We have such incredible actors for Frederick! For our premiere at the Wilson Theater at the Marcus Center.

Still remembering this absolutely PERFECT day!! So incredibly special! Everything about the weekend couldn’t have been better and we had so much fun dancing the night away! Honestly, we’ve also not cried that much in…forever. It can be beautiful and hard to let go at the same time. Luckily, she married the most amazing man whom we love and they only live a half mile away. But still… Just thinking about that lovely day!! Love you @alisonm.foster ❤️

New chapter. Same purpose.
Three years ago, I stepped into a new project that I never imagined would become a calling.
Touring with The Thorn has given me the honor of portraying Peter, Judas, John the Beloved, and many other biblical figures. What started as a performance has become a platform to share the hope of the Gospel.
This page will be a collection of the journey paired with other passions with Choreography and missions.

Over 160,000 people impacted! Enormous congrats to @johnbolin and @sbolin247 for the completion of the 2025/26 season of @thethornofficial ! Sunday night we had the privilege of attending their final performance at @drphillipsctr in Orlando — a beautifully creative, artistically excellent, and compelling retelling of THE Story.

Then we loved celebrating with them in Colorado last night, recounting and thanking God for some amazing stories of impact (and dreaming about what’s ahead).

I probed for some of the final numbers from their Fall and Spring seasons combined :

—160,000+ people saw the production in 83 performances in 37 cities/performing arts centers (please pray for the Gospel seeds that were planted).

—Just over 5,000 children were sponsored through @compassion International by those who attended.

—4,150 complimentary tickets were donated to veterans and active service members (and 1,331 scholarship tickets for the general public).

—An immensely gifted cast and crew of 55.

So grateful for these dear friends who’ve been faithfully refining this production for over a quarter century and who believe in both the Life-giving power of the Gospel as well as the heart-gripping power of art.

I am absolutely blown away by this girl.
At just 16 years old, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes — a life-changing moment at such a critical age. What followed hasn’t been easy. Learning to live with an (currently) incurable, lifelong disease takes strength most people never have to find.
And she’s done it with grit, resilience, and determination that honestly leaves me in awe. 💙
Did you know that people with T1D make around 200 extra decisions every single day just to stay alive? That’s the kind of strength she carries daily — quietly, consistently, and courageously.
So to see her standing here, proudly representing and advocating for all those still fighting and hoping for a cure, is something incredibly special.
Katherine — you are tough as nails, you are unstoppable, and you are truly inspiring.
We are so very proud of you!!! 👏🏼💙

We’re celebrating an incredible milestone thanks to YOU! Since our partnership with @compassion began in 2011, we have seen over 25,000 children sponsored at ‘The Thorn’.

Your heart to take your faith beyond the walls of the theater and stretch to sacrifice, helping bring resources to children in need is inspiring!
