The Pacific Cancer Aotearoa Network was created to connect our Pacific communities and professionals in shared purpose.

On Friday 23 October, Te Manawa Taki hosted the 1st Pasifika Cancer Fono, a milestone gathering designed to shine a spotlight on Pacific cancer realities and strengthen our collective response.

The afternoon Talanoa Circles were especially powerful — a space for our communities to share lived experience, knowledge, and hope. 💚💙💙Together we rise. Together we lead a Pacific response to cancer.

Today was a special day.The very first PACIFIC CANCER FONO 🎗️ Grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend with our @taimepasifikacancersupport whanau.

Fakaue lahi to all our speakers and everyone who poured their hearts into today's talanoa. Thank you to our healthcare whanau in Kirikiriroa Hamilton for hosting us today.

Together sharing experiences and shaping a Pasifika led response to cancer. From talanoa to action mo tatou tagata Pasifika! 🧡

I feel truly blessed to have been by your side as you received recognition at the Mate Ma’a Tonga 40th Anniversary.

Watching you reconnect with old friends and catch up with those who were there from the very beginning of the game for the Kingdom 🇹🇴 was such a special and heartwarming moment. It was wonderful to witness the camaraderie and lasting friendships built over the years, and I’m grateful to have met so many of your colleagues and share in this meaningful occasion with you.
