September Recap- A month of heavy weights(350lb trap bar deadlift & 150lb sandbags carry which I "loved" so much)and equally heavy introspective thoughts. I finally went back to playing some disc golf and man did I miss it(enjoy the video of my subpar putt courtesy of @sincere.simone). Enjoy the wonderful quotes I saw and heard this month, and I also finally got my copy of the long await and highly anticipated "Hybrid" from the goats @thecozmikcollector @thespeedsultan @ehamburgart @lukedockery_art2 @projectnaosis and safe to say this was so worth the wait with how PEAK it was, also you know I had to get the cards aswell

My client @jonathanpritchet went 9/9 and lifted some solid weight! So going into this, he had a previous back injury, a surgery, and currently had issues with his trap muscle. But through adjustments and careful protocol, he went in and lifted some stellar numbers going 540-297-550 and qualified for nationals! He’s finding his way back to the top of the mountain, and I’m excited to see what’s next for him! Congrats man! #powerlifting #squat #benchpress #deadlift #fitness

No toes, no problem!

Unfortunately over this past weekend Julie broke two toes on her right foot. If you know Julie, you know the question was "how do we keep training?" not "how long do I have to take off?"
And keep training she did, without skipping a beat.
By taking the front of the foot off the ground in the hip thrust we emphasize the hip/glute drive, which is exactly what we're trying to target.
For her deadlifts I borrowed one from @j_lucero89 with the seated deadlifts, which he has several great videos breaking it down in detail.

The moral of this story is be more like Julie! Stop finding a reason to quit and start finding a way through ⚔️

July Recap- Pretty decent month, got to watch my four legged nieces and nephews while my brother @cloud_mamba moved(thanks again for letting us watch them, it was such a fun time), got to watch the new spider-man movie early, and like any great person in their 20s before me I had an existential crisis, but we back and we up. Also as per usual I hit some more PRs in the gym

Dad's number one fan, and number one motivation.

If not for yourself, train for them.
Whether that's someone who looks up to you or someone you looked up to that is no longer as strong as they used to be.

That's what strength training is really about.

@itsjameslambert_ came out today and got some incredible shots 📸 if you're looking for someone to capture a moment or any other photography needs he's your man. Located in Marietta / kennesaw, so hit him up if you're in the area and looking for someone who's good at what they do and isn't going to charge you an arm AND a leg for it.

"And with that the summer 2026 Johnson Ferry summer league season comes to an end goodnight"

It brings me a heavy heart to have to say that with the loss of our single elimination playoff game this past Wednesday the season is over. It was such a great time, with some memorable moments, but it couldn't have been possible without my teammates, so thank you @davidziemian one of the best captains who played through the pain no matter what, @jonathanpritchet for being a big body that puts fear into the hearts of our enemies, @mattporter1 for being a big man that very few can try and challenge, @_micahpaulk_ a reliable player to score some big points whenever we needed, @mvrkvfili making sure everyone who needed to be subbed out got subbed out, and welcoming them to the bench with a crisp high-five, @avhoang12 for being a welcoming person who similarly to Mark was ready to sub in at a moments notice, and brought some points to help us win, and to the other teammates(who I happen to not have their Instagrams😐) who put everything they had on the court to make sure to help the team in everywhich way, so once again I want to thank my team for having me and thank this season for showing me and teaching me things about basketball that I wasnt so familiar with
