Standing in a black three-quarter-length Terminator-looking suit, IFBB Pro Jemiase Riggins (@jemiasethe2nd) looks the futuristic part. Adding whole body electro muscle stimulation training to his gym routine causes his major muscle groups activated by the suit to simultaneously contract at over a 90% efficiency, making him almost bionic and definitely super human.

Compared to conventional weight training, his deeper muscle groups are activated by the impulses, recruiting endurance-oriented muscle, or slow-twitch muscle fibers while also engaging his quick-to-fatigue, fast-twitch muscle fibers. This leads to better intra and inter muscular coordination compared with his everyday gym workout because the impulse is going deep into the muscle tissue, making it contract in full. For a body builder, that means reaching failing goals faster and with less weight while making strength gains and increasing density.

The EMS muscle contractions are stronger and more intense than a voluntary exertion can do alone but not painful. In fact, body builders like Jemiase say it “feels good”, like being supported through the reps.
