The past week has been insane! Glad to have gotten some pictures from our last few days in NY. I can’t thank everyone who came out to say goodbye to @meranie32 and me enough. I tried to get pictures with everyone but obviously that didn’t happen. A huge thank you to @howie.feelin and @dive106 for hosting us. I can’t think of a better place to say “see you later” than the place where so many friendships blossomed. And @thiswasarealnicesambake made me THE COOLEST CAKE IVE EVER HAD. Thank you, Sam!! Also pictured- some of my other favorite humans. Special shout out to @larivieresally who helped me come out to CT for one last unexpected hang! I am so grateful to know you people and I can’t wait to see you again soon.

“Juliette’s birthday Month”

Juliette is passion personified. My joke for years has been,“Juliette only deals in extremes” so when she loves you she REALLY loves you, and it’s the best feeling ever. And when she doesn’t like something… well you get the point.

We are so blessed to have a group of friends that feel so close to us that the title of “friend” almost feels like a demotion. These people are our family. That group also extends well beyond the folks pictured. Thank you to all of you for supporting her and celebrating all the amazing victories she’s had this year.

Juliette set a lot of meaningful goals this last year and has been absolutely crushing, smashing, and obliterating all of them. I’m really just in awe of her. She’s truly the most incredible, surprising, and mesmerizing woman I’ve ever met.

I love you Jules, and I can’t wait to marry you :)

Happy Birthday my love 🫶🏻

Okay, folks. I’m finally putting fingers to keyboard and sharing my thoughts about the overwhelming experience of touring with Les Miserables. This is my serious post. Don’t worry. There will be a funny one too. Trying the caption thing so swipe through to read the whole thing.

It’s a running joke in theatre that you can pick one of three things, and two of three if you’re really lucky: Money, resume, fulfillment. Les Mis has given me all three in spades.

There’s something indescribable about the silence during Bring Him Home or the roar after One Day More that I have never felt on any other stage with any other show.

However, I would be remiss to give all the credit to the material. The guttural feelings of the audience extend to all of us onstage, backstage, and in the pit.

You have to be a little insane to drag an 11 truck tour of a massively complicated show with a company of over 80 people around the continent. I always describe our company as a circus. Kids, babies, pets, friends, hobbies, cookware, instruments, vehicles (scooters, bikes and one-wheels included) plus nebulizers, humidifiers, sleep masks, more drugs than a pharmacy, Chinese herbal remedies, electrolytes, and so many water bottles. It is a daunting task and it works because of our community.

I started jokingly and then seriously referring to our tour as a traveling commune, and it caught on. Part of why touring is so addicting is that you get to embody the ideals of community. You’re trapped with your 80 coworkers in hotels and airbnbs and busses and planes and theaters. Do you like everybody? No. Do you crave alone time? Absolutely. But you are where you are and you make the best of it.

Community isn’t about all being best friends or “family” as our capitalist bosses like to throw around. Community is supporting and embracing the people around you despite your differences.

It’s intoxicating to be able to ask our WhatsApp for a stick of butter and have three people offer one up. To know that someone has a self tape set up you can borrow. To always have someone to walk home with even if you’re not that friendly. For the community to function, everyone has to opt in and make the b

Les Misérables, what an honor it’s been. This one was for the kid who dreamed a dream of one day being a part of this extraordinary show all those years ago.

After over 400 shows, 15 Marius’s, and at least 35 cities I’m having trouble finding the words to properly describe what the last year and 3 months has meant to me. Even back before I started this journey in March of 2025 I knew I wouldn’t fully grasp the impact this show would have on me until well after the tour was over. Through it all, I learned the dedication of an 8 show week, the endurance necessary for a long travel day, the glory of a relaxing golden day, I saw the landmarks and staples of countless cities, consumed tons of great food and drink in the company of new friends, saw some old friends along the way, went through the beginning of my fitness transformation, accomplished goals I only used to dream of, went on adventures, performed in all four cities that I’ve called home throughout my life, and am a significantly better man because of it all.

To sum it up, this show, this tour, and these people have changed my life for the better. I left my dream show loving it even more than when I joined. To any cast and crew that were a part of this journey, thank you. You all accepted me in a way I didn’t think was possible. You allowed me to be myself with no apology. Another huge thank you to any friends and family that took the time to see the show or hang out when we came through town. One of the best parts of tour was getting to see people I otherwise wouldn’t if I weren’t traveling for a living. At the end of it all I can confidently say that this tour was everything I hoped it would be and more. I love you Les Mis, until next time. Vive la France!! 💙🤍❤️

Four years ago, I left for tour believing I knew where I was going…. immediately, life became something I never could have planned.

What felt impossible then became an unexpected gift. This show gave me exactly what I needed: the time and the space to grieve, to grow, to wander, and to slowly discover the person I was always capable of becoming.

Over these four years, I wandered through national parks and foreign countries. I chased waterfalls, found tiny bakeries, and shared more pastries than anyone reasonably should. I said goodbye to one dog and welcomed another. I fell in love. And somewhere between all the miles and all the ordinary moments, I found my family, the people who became my sisters, my brothers, and my home. The people who let me take care of them while quietly taking care of me, too.

I’ve spent more than a decade immersed in a story about grace, hope, and the quiet ways people save one another. It turns out I needed it as much as I loved telling it.

Les Mis has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

The woman stepping into whatever comes next isn’t the same one who left four years ago. She was always there, but this beautiful show just gave me the time and the space to find her.
