movement for self-acceptance workshop 🫶🏻

as a lupus warrior, i've been in a love-hate relationship with my body. it was my first time attending a workshop to help me understand my body more through movement.

thank you @sabeezknees , @hi.smithy , and @onewavewellness for letting me participate in this truly one-of-a-kind experience!

this experience was made even more special by the amazing @kar.inmotion who facilitated our safe space.

alongside the workshop were beautiful art pieces by @flowerloversph and @mana___studio

afterwards, we were blessed with the talented @ayacabauatan 's photography

all of these took place in the breathtaking @balay.kobo

during this workshop, i learned more about myself and even met new friends! hopefully i get to attend more events like these surrounded by the most creative and wonderful people. 🫶🏻🦋

Our Operations Teams play an important role in supporting and empowering our platforms at Inchcape Digital. Building strong relationships among colleagues require solid connections, which were effectivity demonstrated during a productive team building activity.

The experience included an 'Art of Connection' session with Karina Dayrit that helped bring us closer through sound and movement exercises, deep listening, self-awareness, and meditation. A huge thank you to Karina for guiding us on this inspiring reflection activity!

Check out the highlights of the session here!

Explorative Movement (Improv)

Last week, the Safe Studio had it’s first Improv session with Teacher Francis (@iskoool), he taught the students to tap into negative spaces specifically empty spaces near the body.

He encouraged dancers to explore these different spaces in themselves and in their partners, helping them touch into their own unique movement.

Join us for another improv session with Teacher Abi this Friday (Aug 16, 2024) at 6:15 PM. Register now via our booking form linktr.ee/thesafestudio
