in a state of happiness, she is charged, radiant, for the space was provided for, an inner kingdom.. the whispers from deep within and from long ago, to echo within the chambers of the heart. The 7 sisters have been generous and out of the abundance of their love, the light 🧚🏽‍♀️ are lit with concentrated creative power. It begins with a belief, a passionate idea for a more attractive future. - written May 28, 2021

Recovery daze 🧖🏼‍♀️ NEAR Infrared light to reduce pain and inflammation, regenerate cells and nervous system regulation. I get so sleepy but in reality I’m starting to experience relaxation 😏 Mary Magdalene oracle deck by a theologian and brilliant author, #megganwatersonoracle The cards I picked were about remembering love and integrating those gifts with gratitude. Added reverence to make it juicier 🌹 Lastly, home made beef Genovese sauce with calamarata pasta and chicken fingers. All made fresh with ingredients from #unionsquaremarket even though most I buy may not be technically “organic” the quality far surpasses organic in the super markets.

✨CUDA Culture and NJCU Gallieries proudly present, Empress J*La-Roc at the Raw ElementZ event. ✨🎤 J*La-Roc is a NJ/NYC-based dancer, cultural organizer, and multidisciplinary artist of Puerto Rican and Taíno descent. Raised in Jersey City, she found her artistic identity within Hip-Hop culture, which laid the foundation for her deep commitment to movement, community care, and youth mentorship. As a multidimensional creator, her work spans across dance — including breaking and Latin dance — spoken word, theater, music, and writing. J*La-Roc uses her art to embrace vulnerability as a form of healing—a journey deeply shaped by her lived experiences with mental illness and recovery from a life-threatening injury. A fierce competitor with a powerful battle presence, she is the co-founder of Ladies Adios (a women-led Open Styles crew and NYC-based event platform) and has secured international titles, including first place at Who Came to Serve 2 in Mexico. Heavily active in her community, J*La-Roc currently serves as leader of NBK crew, co-hosts Awaken JC, and sits on the Board of Advisors for CUDA, continuously inspiring the next generation through the transformative power of urban and Latin dance. Meet the Empress herself, J*La- Roc, this Sunday. See you there!

RSVP to FREE & SPONSORED EVENT! Food and Drinks provided. 4/25-4/26 - Partiful LINK IN BIO! Our anticipated, two-day cinematic experience would not be possible if it weren’t for the trust bestowed upon us from the participating filmmakers to display their pieces of art. We are deeply grateful to be a bridge between their hard work and those who yearn to give their invaluable time/attention to highly qualitative and cerebral material — and that bridge would not be possible without the confirming nod from Pierre Guillet ( @pierreguillet13 ), Founder of @bronxframe Pierre has been part of the foundational storytelling set forth from Between Las Líneas, and we want to honor the space he’s helped to cultivate within the historic Andrew Freedman Home ( @afhbronx ) by knitting together a memorable time with passionate people. Most of the participating filmmakers whose films have been hand-selected will be in attendance, so please come by, support, ask questions, and just have a good time! Below are the selected films and their creators: Project Penelope - @alexdlugo WAY_Aurelio - @alan_rexroth_visuals Zero Hour - @ali.ahmed.pilot Closure - @ashleycanfield Westway - @zefcota Solace - @6oogie_ Together, Where We Stay Alone - (@nebula_photofilm) Kayden Li Chang Half A Life - @resurgenceimaging @ivomaj1985 She Just Wants - @glennrobertford El Cavil - @evgeniyaradilova Wake Up To Me - @_.brayka._ Desk Defender - @sebas_sol_ B-Box - @xgsignalstar Sleep At Night - @wanderlustfilmmaker Insular Spectres - @cdleoriveraf Sol - @jomadlys If you have any questions leading up to the event, please be sure to reach out, as we want to alleviate any sort of confusion beforehand. Thanks in advance for your time. We really hope to see you all there! #LinkInBio 🤟
