if i've learned anything from watching Forgotten Island (twice now), is that the power of friendship can overcome and accomplish many many things. my friends are the coolest and are who drive me to do the best i can. this is the outcome of an incredible weekend, filled with healing, revolution, and creativeness.

My Mother ♥️

First photo: With my father by her side, she was standing in her embroidered dress. She was smiling and her eyes were full of life.

Second photo: After I lost my father... a stroke, heart arrhythmia, and chronic illnesses stole her health.
Now she is in a wheelchair among the rubble and the pain of life 😟

My mother needs your help today.

I am Rajab.
After 15 years of waiting to have a child... my mother brought me into this world.
Today, I am the only provider after my father was martyred.
My mother, Al-Hajja Fathia Awad, is 71 years old.
She suffers from chronic illnesses, heart failure, and a stroke that caused half-body paralysis.
I also suffer from vitiligo.
There is no work. No income. The economic situation is destroyed.
We cannot find healthy food, medicine, or clean water.
With a heavy heart, I had to start a Chuffed donation campaign
to provide my mother with the treatment and food she desperately needs.
Any amount makes a difference and gives her hope.

My birthday is sad 😞💔
17 / 8 / 1999 - 17 / 8 / 2026 🎂
2020: Cake and light
2021: Cake and family ❤️
2022: Cake and hope 🙏
2023: The last cake before everything changed...

That was our last birthday at home. August 2023.
The cake was small, but it was enough for the 3 of us - me, my mom, and my dad.
And our life was all sweet and warm.

Then in October the war started...
And since that day our life became darkness.

Today my dad is gone. He was martyred.
I miss you, my kind father 💔
And my mom is sick.

I'm not asking for a birthday gift.
I'm begging you to help me save my mom.
