As a Pilates instructor who loves both teaching and attending other ppls classes, (cause how good is not having to think and being told what to do?!!) it’s super important to ensure your classes FLOW!

I thought I would share an example of how you could transition from the floor to a standing series in a Pilates class. Notice how I am only moving positions from back to side, or side to front. Slowly making my way to standing. I would avoid going from laying on your back to the next exercise standing facing the front. It’s too big of a transition and feels clunky... try flow through positions (adding layers) to make your way up.

TOP TIPS TO FLOW:
- avoid using too many props
- stay in position & layer the exercises for a real burn
- when changing position, only move a small amount (eg - laying on back, move into side laying position, then to 4 point kneel, then to stand)

this is a snippet of my new core circuit, full workout uploaded on Kore!!

I started the class off with a warm up to the beat, and honestly it really gets you in the mood to sweat, dance and shake ♥️♥️💃

if you’re doing my classes this week in studio you’re in for a treat!! and for those of you who join me online, I have a FREE workout waiting for you - just comment WARMUP and I’ll send it to your DMs xxx

A huge thank you to @sansara.au (supported by @alo ) for guiding us through a morning of movement and breathwork, and to @calipress_au for keeping us fueled with post-class protein smoothies.

Such a fantastic end to a busy week.

Discipline > motivation.

Because some days you’ll feel like it, and some days you absolutelyyyyy won’t.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s building a routine you actually want to stick to.

A little movement, done consistently, adds up.

Find your routine on KORE. Link in bio 💛
