WE’VE MOVED! 🎉
📍 New Location
113 School Street, Suite A
Danielson, CT 06239

I’m still operating as Limelight, but the salon space itself is now called Fern. Rhiannon and I collaborated to create this new home together, and since we were building something new, it felt right to give the space its own identity.

Fern is everything I’ve always loved about Limelight, just with even more intention behind it. My hope is that every person who walks through these doors feels comfortable being themselves, inspired to become anything they imagine, and leaves feeling their absolute best.

I’m not making any major changes to my schedule, services, or the way I operate right now. But this new space has already given me something I didn’t realize I was missing: room to breathe.

I feel more grounded, more inspired, and more connected to the stylist and business owner I always wanted to be. Everything here just feels… right.

Thank you for following me through every chapter and for supporting me along the way. It means more than you know. I can’t wait for you to experience Fern, and I hope you love it as much as I do. 🪴✨

See you there!
💚✌🏼

✨ Something beautiful is coming… ✨

I knew 7 years ago when I finally got Rhiannon to come to Limelight it would be the start of something special.
After many conversations, changes, lots of dreaming, and months of planning, we are combining our businesses and relocating to create something truly special.

This isn’t just a new location, it’s a new experience. A thoughtfully designed space where creativity, relaxation, and community come together. We’re building a space that feels warm, welcoming, and inspiring from the moment you walk through the door. Don’t worry, it’s still us, our style and allll the vibes, but with a fresh outlook and new partnership!

We can’t wait to share more with you over the coming weeks, including sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes progress, and our official opening date.

Trust us… you’re going to love what’s coming. 🌿🤍
We can’t wait!!🤩

✨ Something beautiful is taking root… 🌿

For quite some time now, Kayla and I have been dreaming about what our businesses could become if we brought them together. Not just under one roof, but around one shared vision.

Hair has always been at the heart of what we do, but we’ve both felt called to create something that goes beyond the appointment. A space where people feel welcomed, cared for, inspired, and truly seen. A place where creativity, wellness, connection, and community can naturally exist together.

After many conversations, countless ideas scribbled on paper, and months of planning, we’re so excited to finally share that we’re combining our businesses and moving into a new home.

This isn’t simply a new salon.

It’s the beginning of something we’ve poured our hearts into.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing the journey with you—the renovations, the behind-the-scenes moments, and the little details that are bringing this vision to life.

We can’t wait to welcome you into the space we’ve been dreaming about.

We think you’re going to feel right at home🤍🌱✨

Sooooo I cut like 6 inches, weighing 7 ounces off my dreads!!

I’ve had them for 10 years and have never cut length off them!

It was time. They were SO FUCKING HEAVY, and always in the way. I was sitting on them, and holding them out of the way to pee… my neck hurt everyday. They were in the way doing yoga, It was just time.

I’m sad, but it feels better. They’re out of the way, my neck doesn’t hurt as much. And bonus they’re all my natural color now! All my pre dread highlights have been cut off!

It’s bittersweet. Making this reel, I absolutely like the look of them longer and with the blonde ends better, but overall I’m happy with the new style and length💚

Sending the best wishes for your holiday season❤️💚

If you’re waiting for a message reply or an appointment to be rescheduled by me, I did not forget about you. We are STILL sick! (Hubs and I both) i don’t know for sure what we caught but I’m guessing some sort of flu or the vid. I think we’re both starting to come around finally but I haven’t even been able to think about what extra days I’ll be able to handle to fit you all back in once I get back at it! But I will do my best as soon as possible, I promise!

While taking time off (planned or unplanned) is stressful as a business owner, I am extremely grateful for all your patience and understanding. You are literally my whole job and I love each of you for making what I do possible! Also we can’t do it alone… thanks @thehaiircoach and @luxe_and_dahlia for holding down the fort while we were out!!

We missed all our family festivities and I did not get to prepare all the gifts I planned, but we’re feeling the love from everyone checking in and offering help🥹

I hope your holidays are healthier than ours were!!
Who’s ready for 2025??

Stylist Chair and Treatment Room with private bathroom available for rent with us here at Limelight!
Shampoo and styling products and booking system account (if you want it) included with stylist chair.

A little about Limelight:
Chill, positive vibes here. We also try to be eco friendly and use mostly clean products. (Not a requirement, just setting the stage for ya;)
I specialize in dreadlocks, while our other two stylists focus more on cutting and coloring. We have a Smoke Shop located in our salon, downstairs.
We’re located right in the downtown portion of Main Street in Danielson, Connecticut with plenty of parking close by!
Treatment room would be perfect for any kind of holistic practitioner, tattoo artist, lash artist, aesthetician, etc! What do you do?!?!

Share with your friends, or favorite stylist/service provider/artist!
