POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yoga with Elwood 🐾🧘🏻‍♀️
Episode Three.

In the first two posts I showed what practicing yoga with my dogs looks like. Episode 3 shows what it feels like. 💚

You might see all the interruptions and chaos and wonder why I don’t just close the dogs out of the room while I practice…

The simple answer? I love them! 😂
And it’s not always chaos.

Most of the time they’re actually pretty good at offering support. 🥹

Yoga means connection; Unity. And isn’t that part of why we love dogs so much? That connection we feel with them, and the even deeper bonds we build with our own pets. Why would I want to leave that outside of my practice?

Yoga isn’t about creating some separate little world where everything is peaceful and serene. It’s about finding your flow in whatever unfolds.

Sometimes Elwood interrupts my practice. Sometimes he deepens it.

It’s not an obstacle. It’s just another way to bend. 💚

Yoga with Elwood 🐾🧘🏻‍♀️
Episode Two.

Okay, THIS is what I was talking about. 😂

Apparently Elwood has decided to take his new job very seriously.

This is what my yoga practice actually looks like most days. Sometimes I move around them, sometimes they move around me, sometimes I stop for kisses, and sometimes I just accept that whatever I was trying to do is not happening right now. 🙃

And honestly, I don’t really mind.

They’re not interrupting some perfect version of my practice. They’re just part of it.

I think that’s kind of why I wanted to start sharing these in the first place.

Yoga doesn’t need perfect conditions to count.
Interruptions included!💚

Introducing: Yoga with Elwood 🧘‍♀️🐾
Episode One.

For years, Elwood has considered my yoga practice a group activity.
He’s been in the way, under me, on my mat, in my face… and sometimes just providing me with a cute view.

So eventually, I decided to start filming it.

No fancy setup or cute outfits. Just my everyday practice (usually in my PJs) and an attempt to capture whatever contribution Elwood decides to make that day. 😂

Naturally, the second I started recording, he stopped doing anything interesting.

But after weeks of snoozing by the door… he’s finally ready for his new job.

Yoga doesn’t have to be pretty or peaceful to count.
For me, the dogs are just part of it. Like everything else. 🙃

Welcome to Yoga with Elwood. 💚

✨ Something beautiful is coming… ✨

I knew 7 years ago when I finally got Rhiannon to come to Limelight it would be the start of something special.
After many conversations, changes, lots of dreaming, and months of planning, we are combining our businesses and relocating to create something truly special.

This isn’t just a new location, it’s a new experience. A thoughtfully designed space where creativity, relaxation, and community come together. We’re building a space that feels warm, welcoming, and inspiring from the moment you walk through the door. Don’t worry, it’s still us, our style and allll the vibes, but with a fresh outlook and new partnership!

We can’t wait to share more with you over the coming weeks, including sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes progress, and our official opening date.

Trust us… you’re going to love what’s coming. 🌿🤍
We can’t wait!!🤩 by @kaylussier

The dogs (Elwood especially) love to lay on my yarn while I’m creating things.

There is likely a dog hair in your hat😉

✨UPDATE!! Reschedule date is now Sunday December 7th 10:30am!

This class will be a gentle yin yoga. In all the postures, you should be able to comfortably read your book! This is not a restorative class. You will feel it, but it’s not difficult, just stretchy. If you’re a reader and need some stretching… let me tell you, this is LOVELY!

As I am not a yoga studio anymore, bear with me! We’ll be set up in the salon and I don’t have any props, so you’ll need to bring a yoga mat, your book and anything else to keep you comfy and cozy! I have a few blankets and plenty to offer to drink… also @twodogscoffeeshop is right next door!

I’ve decided not to give this a price tag cuz it doesn’t feel right. So it’s donation based, pay what you can, if you can!

Please message me with any questions at all and to reserve your spot. (Sign up link possibly to come-not sure how donation based works with online class scheduling)

Sooooo I cut like 6 inches, weighing 7 ounces off my dreads!!

I’ve had them for 10 years and have never cut length off them!

It was time. They were SO FUCKING HEAVY, and always in the way. I was sitting on them, and holding them out of the way to pee… my neck hurt everyday. They were in the way doing yoga, It was just time.

I’m sad, but it feels better. They’re out of the way, my neck doesn’t hurt as much. And bonus they’re all my natural color now! All my pre dread highlights have been cut off!

It’s bittersweet. Making this reel, I absolutely like the look of them longer and with the blonde ends better, but overall I’m happy with the new style and length💚
