A new look for the coffee you love, and a long-awaited step toward better packaging. ☕️🌱

After years of searching, we’re excited to introduce Amavida’s refreshed coffee bags. The cleaner design puts the focus on the people and care behind every roast, from the farmers and producers who grow the coffee to the team who brings it to your cup.

These new bags are now commercially compostable, and has a resealable closure to help keep your coffee fresh. It’s real progress toward a goal we’ve carried for years, made possible by the support of our coffee community. We’re excited for you to spot the new bags on the shelf and bring one home for your next brew.

That’s a wrap on Multnomah Days 2026!

What a wonderful day celebrating art, creativity, and community throughout Multnomah Village.

The Multnomah Arts Center joined the parade, welcomed families for hands-on creativity in the Kids Zone, showcased work from our talented community at the Arts & Crafts Sale, and partnered with @arthereproject to capture stories about why arts access matters to people across Portland.

Thank you to @multnomahvillagepdx and @multnomahneighborhoodpdx for bringing our neighborhood together, to Art Here and all of our participating community partners, and to the incredible @portlandparks staff and volunteers who helped make the day possible.

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who walked, created, shopped, shared a story, or simply stopped by to say hello. We loved celebrating Multnomah Days with you!

We’ll be posted in front of the shop with new works by @rachellozeauart @kevintudball & @dott.furniture . We’ll also be showing off some designs from @fermliving we brought back from our recent trip to Copenhagen. There will be live music in the park, food and lots of amazing vendors to peruse. The Multnomah Neighborhood Association has been keeping busy this summer!

🕊️ Tomorrow they will dedicate a memorial bench in honor of Moses Ross, a steadfast civic advocate who died last year. The ceremony will take place from 5-5:30pm at Village Park. Attendees are encouraged to stick around until 7:30pm for the First Friday Concert in the Park.

🎨 While you’re there, be sure to check out a new mural designed by local artist Kevin Tudball! Neighbors of all ages and abilities came together last month to paint this wonderful project from Art in the Village, a group of artists, neighbors, and volunteers working to celebrate creativity and strengthen community through public art.

🎉 I hope to see you on Saturday, August 15th at Multnomah Days Festival & Parade, a family-friendly street festival with musical acts, a community parade, an art fair, 150+ vendor booths, and food and beverage vendors!

🗑️ And don’t miss your chance to dispose of bulky and difficult-to-recycle items at SW Green Dumpster Day from 9am-1pm Saturday, August 22nd at Portland Christian Center, 5700 SW Dosch Road. Organizations will be on hand to collect, recycle, repurpose, and reuse as much as possible.
