'If you're heartbroken just throw yourself at an impossible wall.'

I don't think it's a coincidence over the last few years that I've been drawn to watching documentaries about people doing incredible things. Cave rescues, soul festivals and lots of lots of mountains.

These films are my regular reminder that people can be great and and do great things. In a world where it feels we're racing downwards toward some kind of moral abyss it's refreshing to see perseverance, determination, kindness, friendship and love win out.

This is one such story. I can't describe it. You've got to watch it to get it I think. I'm nothing but in awe of what Tommy and Kevin achieved. But more so in the how they did it.

My eldest is being her brilliant self and sharing this documentary obsession with me at the moment. We've watched this film many times now. I get a bit lump-in-throat-wet-eyed every time. Seeing someone realise their dream is a pretty incredible thing.

And it shows, despite everything, it's still somehow possible in this world. Even for the good guys.

You know who’s an ambassador for @bremontwatches ? This guy! Do you know who is mere INCHES away from opening the best climbing gym in Sonoma? Also this guy! Had fun attending the launch of Bremont watch boutique at Bike Shed Moto Company last night then had some ramen afterwards with @kjorgeson So proud of him! 👍

Feeling the grandeur and gravity of Yosemite Valley. I was really psyched to spend a day in Yosemite last week making some fun pictures with my friend Kevin Jorgeson @kjorgeson in advance of Earth Day and the announcement that Kevin’s joining @bremontwatches as their newest ambassador. Kevin even indulged me by taking some whippers off the Killer Pillar, which has some of the best sport routes in the Valley.
