Shout Conference 2024… @sparkarena

Wherever I am, whoever I work with - become Family ♥️

I got to direct 2 different Gospel Choirs,
Create vocal arrangements with @whuirua & @atmoshui - and teach all the vocal parts used for Fridays sessions.

30 individual mics for Choir,
10 other vocalists (BVS & Worship Leaders).

It was interesting working remotely with vocalists who live all over NZ and the 🌏…

The only time we could rehearse with everyone all together was in soundcheck ON The DAY!

Have definitely been reflecting on how I can do things better for next time ♥️

Thankful to an Amazing Team who put in the work - and especially to @ratugordon (legend) for mixing us in the Arena (and analogue, no less)🔥

He listened to my vision for the vocals & how I wanted it to sound. Collaboration with the Front of House Sound Engineer is everything.

I am blessed and Eternally grateful 🙏🏻

PS - apologies, I couldn’t tag everyone 🤍
IG has a limit of 20ppl 🤦🏻‍♀️
You know who you are 😍

15 years of marriage to my one and only today. We have created a beautiful life over 15 years, lots of love, so much fun and laughter, heaps of down tones, silly fights, annoyingness, despair and heartbreak but I wouldn’t want it any other way!
You mean so much to me, and I admit sometimes I do take your humour for granted. Here’s to many more years, more fun and so much laughter, heaps of silly moments, booty dancing in the kitchen, joy, reality tv show watching, lots of love and craziness.
Happy 15th Wedding Anniversary my Kurtus, love you so much ❤️💕🫶🏻🥂

11 years ago today, we were waiting for your arrival.
We had been sleeping in the lounge the last few weeks, easy access straight to the door if anything happened at night.
I remember getting an early phone call from your Aunty telling me that she had a dream that I had the baby today.
I laughed and said ‘Nah’ and went back to eating my tub of ice cream.
But you did decide to come after all.
Everything happened so fast, my waters broke at home and then we were on our way to the hospital.
When I held you for the first time I was so nervous but I loved everything about you.
The first few months were hard.
I was so tired, you hardly slept, and you never brought wind up for me.
We both cried all the time haha

But I will always cherish being at home with you, there for your first everythings.
Your first bottle, your first foods, your first time going into a big boy cot, your first Christmas outfit, your first smile, your first giggle, your first big booboo.
You sure were a Mama’s boy!

Oh, how I miss you so much.
I often wonder what you would be like today as an 11 year old.
What things would you be into, what friends you would have, what would your favourite subject at school be, Would your voice be differnet, would you be taller?
What style of clothes would you wear, if you had crush, would you have sung solo’s at school?

My heart hurts a little more today because you are not here to celebrate.
But we will still always celebrate you.
Tonight we are having a party and the kids are so excited.
There will be balloons, singing, dancing, sillyness, cake and treats, “All for Lias”.

Happy 11th Birthday my son.
We love and miss you so much.
Love Mama

Three students, one faith and a journey into the space where culture and faith intersect.

As we reflect on ‘Te Wiki o te Reo Māori’, join our three students as they navigate the tensions and beauty of cultural identity during our Equippers College Noho, at the beautiful Rukumoana Marae in Morrinsville.

To the wonderful and generous Whānau o Rukumoana Marae.. He mihi aroha atu nei ki a koutou katoa ❤️🖤
