2026 age division nats recap!!

9/10🤣
Total: 451kg | 994.27lb @ 51.9kg/114.4lbs BW (unofficial Jr. WR Total🌎 & +31kg/68lb meet PR😝)
550.46 DOTS
114.07 IPF GL

Squat (3/3):
165.5kg | 364.86lbs ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (+5.5kg Unofficial JR WR🌎, +7.5kg meet PR)

squats went phenomenal and better than i expected (although @evanhawk_ knew i had that 🦮 in me), considering 1) how often i was in pain from squatting this prep, 2) the gnarly weight cut i did, and 3) how infrequently i was able to comp squat this entire prep. fuckin stoked at this. this is also my first squat meet PR in YEARS.

Bench (2/3):
95.5kg | 210.53lbs ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (+0.5kg meet PR, Jr. 🇺🇸 Record)
100.5kg | 221.56lbs 🔴🔴🔴 (near miss)

was kinda shocked that i missed my third bench this day because i felt extremely strong, and i had never missed 100kg before this. it became a routine weight for me🤷‍♀️ still hit a small meet PR and an american record though!

Deadlift (4/4 lol):
173kg (AR) - 181.5kg (AR) - 185kg (AR + un. WR)
190kg | 418.87lbs ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (ATPR, unofficial Jr. WR🌎, OPEN 🇺🇸 Record)

and finally, my absolute favorite lift of the day. i ended up taking a 4th deadlift because of a miscommunication at the score table and it ended up being so insanely hype! finally beat the downward motion allegations. now let’s load 200+ in south africa😈🇿🇦

As usual, we didn’t take enough photos, but still had an amazing time with the team! Incredibly thankful to be there and to be part of so many athletes’ days. Congrats, everyone — much love.

Powerlifting America Age Division Nationals in the books. @powerlifting_america

Went 9/9 on the day. All white lights and finished strong. It was a hectic year. Honestly post weigh ins, I felt composed and controlled for the majority of the meet, and I know there’s still a lot more there to give. I am somewhat satisfied with the performance, but nowhere near done.

Final lifts:
• Squat: 210 kg / 463 lbs
• Bench: 147.5 kg / 325 lbs
• Deadlift: 235 kg / 518 lbs

Huge thank you to my coach Eric @cool_lifting_stuff for everything he’s done. Your guidance, handling, and hype means more than I can put into words.

And to Morgan thank you for being there through all of it. The support, patience, putting up with my attitude and help behind the scenes never goes unnoticed.

Also thankful for my parents for everything they’ve done to help me throughout this entire year. None of this happens alone.

Really proud of the athletes I coached this weekend too:

DJ finally put together the kind of meet we knew he was capable of. @djepowerlifts
Kane stepped onto the national platform for the first time and pushed himself hard. @kane._lifts
Xavier did an amazing job all weekend competing and handling. @javi.lifts_things
Vedant pulled through after a rough few blocks, and put up an impressive total. @vedukg
And Timothy Coleman won his weight class after battling through the day and coming back strong after only missing his second deadlift attempt. @tcoleman.lifts 🥇

Big thanks to PEAK Apparel as well for getting me set up with amazing merch and their new deadlift product that had me pulling confidently all meet long. Check their page: @shop.peak.apparel @peak_grip

The work continues. @strwellness_xtrainingsystems
