Hear from Laura on the inspiration behind this 40 Days Theme: “This past May, I had the privilege of co-leading a yoga retreat in Peru with Live Alive Adventures. I’ve led over a dozen retreats around the world, and I can honestly say this was the most transformational retreat I’ve been a part of. Two things altered the course of my life: the country’s culture and the teachings of the retreat center owner, Fernando. One day, while we were at the ancient “Moray” site in The Sacred Valley, Fernando gave a talk about the relationship between the Chakras, our bodies’ energy centers, and the natural elements that we were surrounded by in this sacred location. He also shared how we can use the power of the chakras and their natural elements to bring an idea to fruition. This way of seeing the process of bringing an idea to fruition resonated so deeply with me. All of my leadership training, all of my yoga training - it all came together in this very simple and very profound explanation. Fast forward to a couple of months ago - I just knew that I needed to bring this talk to life for our community in a 40 Days program.”
