The workshops are rain or shine! And have proven to be lots of fun. I will provide the necessary materials and refreshments. You can also bring items that you might compose with. I have found out that beginners or advanced creators enjoy the experience.

The prints made at the workshops will vary in size. Images shown here are for inspiration only. We will not be doing full body prints! At least not yet!

Saturday night at LBIF was wonderful … from the exhibition that is COAST, to the gathering of artists and community, to the fascinating Juror Talk ‘Caroline Durieux: Atomic Bite’, to meeting Juror Michelle Donnelly and Executive Director Daniella Kerner, to the weather holding out. Thanks to all who braved the forecast and came to celebrate this magnificent show. I am honored to share the space with so many talented artists who like me, have a deep love for our Jersey coast.

Sometimes things come together in beautiful ways. I was honored to see my piece among those on the walls of this exhibit @lbif . With so many interpretations of the theme “Coast”, it was clear we are lucky to be in a state with such a vast and beautiful resource. Last night’s opening reception was a joy. Deep thanks to everyone who braved those storms to come see it yourself. I feel loved. And for those of you viewing from afar, what does “Coast” mean to you?

“Maria’s Parking!” Is one of those places that quietly tells a larger story about community and belonging. Quintessential Jersey Shore.
I’m honored that the photograph has been selected for “Coast”, my second juried exhibition @lbif this summer. Opening tonite.
