Personalised paper mobiles made for my sister and her partners wedding. Designed with some custom scripting in grasshopper, laser cut on printed paper, and hand stitched with embroidery thread. Both digitally and hand crafted
Made in collaboration with @leo.rousham
The mobiles were fun to get balanced and I hope to make more in the future. The next step is to design the struts the decorations hang from

This summer I had the pleasure of designing decorations for my sister Caitlin’s wedding to her (now) husband Clarence, with the help of @leo.rousham. We made both hanging decorations (including 2 mobiles) and some table decorations for holding lights. These were all made from paper, which we printed with images from different phases of their relationship on the inside, and with drawings of scenes of celebration on the outside and then folded them up and sewed them with embroidery thread. When they hung they spun in constellations representing their relationship

Happy for POWER STATION to be a finalist in the @deauvillegreenawards ! As we can't get to Paris for the amazing sounding events full of films and comedy and cocktails I have badly photoshopped us there onto the zinc clad rooftops. Which reminds me (Hilary) of my favourite childhood books - Ted and Dolly's Magic Carpet Ride by Richard Fowler - where each page takes them from giant's lair to icecream heaven. Feels like we're on a similar ride! City of Lights here we come

Exciting news, XMTR AUDIO ARTS FESTIVAL is back.
Friday 25th-Sunday 27th September

A limited number of early-bird tickets are now on sale and the opportunity to be part of the programme of events.

This year XMTR will see some exciting changes - the main festival will be on the Saturday and Sunday, kicking off with the audio cabaret on Friday night, providing lots more opportunities to connect and hang out with the international creative audio community.

During the day on Friday we will be testing out ‘XMTR PULSE’ - a day dedicated to: What’s next for creative audio? With less traditional opportunities and an exciting surge of independent initiatives, we will take time to connect, unpack, inspire and conspire with like minded audio folk.
This has a limited number of spaces - if it’s something you would like to be part of, do get in touch directly.

The festival weekend is set to be a packed ambitious and exciting programme, spanning multiple unique and wonderful venues in and around St Leonards-on-Sea on the UK’s South Coast. Deep diving into the craft of creative audio and sonic storytelling. From powerful and provocative performances, to focused listening and immersive experiences, this is a gathering space for the international creative audio community to connect, collaborate and get inspired!

We have some wonderful allies this year that we're plotting some collaborations with: @oorzaken @multitrackfellowship @audiofluxing @inthedarkradio @resonancefm @modusarts @
luciafestival @transomradio
and many more to come....

You can book your early bird passes and access the open call via xmtr.fm/festival (link in bio)

Such an incredible time with @uwe_film at @asffestival - watching some powerful films, exploring the beauty of York and spending time with amazing people.

Hearing from other filmmakers in the industry, filled with such passion for the craft and their films was so inspiring.

Homeward bound from @jihlava_idff complete with a golden certificate because our film POWER STATION @power.film.art got a ‘special mention’ in the international competition ‘opus bonum’. We felt so welcome at this brilliant creative documentary film festival and so happy to see it resonate and reach a diverse and particularly young European audience. Thank you! Flushed cheeks from drinking fine Czech wine with @boironlajous who also got special mention and @lisaplstr who won best central and Eastern European doc in our opus bonum category - and I even got to dance ! And apparently appear on Czech tv botching my speech as accepting on behalf of all the power station team @dan777edelstyn @jessicatmandu @leo.rousham @littleredhenfilms and so many more including our street and everyone who helped make this people powered film happen! And thank you to a @britisharts film travel fund grant for helping get us there
