WE DID IT. 457 pledges. 9 weeks. $42,851 raised. 🙏🏾🥹🎉✨ WE = our community, family, friends, colleagues, teammates, exes, acquaintances, classmates, friends of friends, family of friends and strangers on the internet. The way you all showed up and spread the word has been mind blowing! Absolutely none of this would be possible without every single person who donated. Every dollar made the difference and we are grateful beyond belief. Our hearts are full as we head into post production not just because of this accomplishment but because of the stories that were shared, the memories created, the dreams beyond ours that were supported and the community that we have built along the way. We love you all and can’t wait for you to see what you have helped create! 🌈 - The LMS Team p.s - our crowdfunding campaign is officially done but we are still going to be fundraising to make sure we are fully covered for post production and film festival submissions. If you or anyone you know would like to support, there is an updated donation link under “My Story” in our crowdfunding page (link in bio). THANK YOU! 💖 #seedandspark #queerromcom #indieshortfilm #queershortfilm #wlw @flextasybard @life_w.alexandra

🏆 NEWS: My script, Undecided, won the top screenwriting award at @outonfilm this year. I’ve spent hundreds of hours on this script over the last few years, tinkering with every word and trying to get this story right. As part of the festival, a few scenes were staged as a reading. It was surreal to hear words that have lived with me for so long come out of the mouths of such talented actors. I truly believe Undecided is a story worth telling, and I’m grateful for this step toward getting it made one day. Thank you to Out On Film’s staff, board, and jurors for seeing something in these characters and their world. Special thanks to @leothemanlion for pulling the reading together, and to the actors who made these characters jump off the page: @stiggah_man @darrell_snedeger @justiceleague_reed @ernaisjacurry @nathan_kornick_film And to my village of friends who show up for me more than I deserve: thank you. 📸: @sydlee.studios UNDECIDED When he returns home for Christmas for the first time in years, a burned-out White House advisor finds himself torn between a charming British journalist and the ambitious ex-boyfriend who broke his heart: Atlanta’s newly elected mayor.

On Monday I was on another panel at @outonfilm; this time ‘Pitch: Creating Our World’ moderated by Leo Hollen and alongside panelists Mya-Breyana Morton, Mike Manning and Amy McGary PITCH: CREATING OUR WORLD Every great film begins with an idea-but turning that idea into something other people believe in is a craft all its own. Whether you're speaking to producers, grant panels, investors, collaborators, or festival programmers, learning to clearly communicate your vision can open doors long before a camera ever rolls. During this interactive session, industry professionals will break down what makes a compelling pitch, discuss common mistakes, and share practical advice on tailoring your presentation to different audiences. Then, you will have the opportunity to step up and pitch your own projects in a supportive environment, receiving constructive feedback from experienced filmmakers and industry guests. Moderator: Leo Hollen, Jr. Panelists: Mya-Breyana Morton Naomi Bennett Mike Manning Amy McGary @leothemanlion @directedxmyabre @naomibennettuk @mike_manning_
