After 20 years of raising children, creating memories,and a full remodel later it was such a joy to see the beautiful write up that Utah Style & Design did on our home.

Finding ways to add new life to the traditional bones of the house and thoughtfully place the art and sculptures we have collected through the years was something Jon and I loved doing together. More to come (including some epic before photos) in the next few weeks.

The best (and busiest) year to date. The people, places, experiences, and lessons learned were top notch.

Book Club, DND Group, Lagoon Trips, Mardi Gras, Moab weekends, Jordan River Walks, Art Shows, Painting, Teaching, The Renaissance Faire, Work Trips, Bachelorette Parties, our wedding, Ireland, costume parties, family vacations, and more. My heart is exploding. Thanks 2025. ❤️

Thank you 2025!

A year of incredible growth, focus, opportunity and connection.

A few highlights have to include our Rustic Grandeur home making the cover of @luxemagazine our incredible community meeting us with generosity during our fundraiser (together we raised $23,000 to benefit @liftinghandsinternational !),
finishing our office expansion, streamlining our processes and strengthening our designs.

Most of all we are grateful for our day to day moments, being part of such stunning projects, getting to work with our talented trade partners and having the most incredible and trusting clients!

2026, here we come and we’re just getting started!

The Wedding, Part 3

At the end of the day, the design created the backdrop and tone for an epic day and spectacular celebration!

We cried, laughed and danced the night away. My husband and I poured our hearts out in love for Kendyl and Blake and all the people that have supported them in their journey.

The weeks, days and hours of thought, planning and hard work that went into designing this wedding all paid off when looking around at a room full of people celebrating and enjoying every minute.

In the end the ultimate gift of creation exists when the design sparks joy and you’ve created a space to connect and make memories to last a lifetime! This wedding did exactly that for me and my family.

Wedding Pt. 2: When Kendyl and Blake first got engaged they started planning with a strong vision in mind: “Think the end of summer camp dance vibes - but elevated - bold colors, disco balls and lots of handmade elements.”

We treated the entire process similar to how we handle the design discovery phase when working with clients. Mood boards, vendor meetings and even putting the venue floor plan into CAD as we played with endless table layouts.
The result was incredible. Between Blake’s custom graphics, Kendyl’s hand-painted elements, many late art/craft nights and a team of incredible vendors we were nothing short of ecstatic with the final result.

it’s my mothers birthday!! The older I get the more I see her when I look in the mirror🥹 I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have her as my mom. To know her is to love her💟

The highlight of this fall! My oldest daughter Kendyl got married early September. It was a day overflowing with joy and color!
This wedding was the culmination of 18 months of design, planning and anticipation. I believe that life and design are intertwined and this event was the perfect example of this philosophy.
I am thrilled to share the design process that made this memorable day one I will always cherish, but first, a few of my favorite photos from the wedding featuring my favorite people.
