1:09:59. Still doesn’t feel real.

Hitting the goal by a second made this one so much sweeter. From the 2nd km I made a decision to be brave and it paid off in the last 6k, where I learned a lot about myself.

And this weekend wasn’t just mine. My people showed up and did incredible things out there; every one of you who raced, who put yourselves on the line, I’m so proud of what you did. This is ours.

Thank you to the community @ldn_slct for helping me find people I love dearly ❤️. And thank you @berlinbraves for setting this up, appreciate you guys.

Journey before destination.

Relentless… that’s the energy we’re on right now. Big motion all this week and grateful for all the blessings the lord is putting on my journey through this life.

Grateful I get to be exhausted from the life and path I’ve chosen and all the people that support and believe in me.

It’s either gonna be a generational run I’m gonna crash and burn but the only way to find out is putting the pedal down. All gas no brakes.

Training fitness can seem like a burden, but do it enough, see how much easier your sport becomes.⚡️

The more efficient the moving parts, the better the movement that can be produced. 🫀

Remember it doesn’t always have to be boring, change it up, work with a partner and keep it stepping. 🔥

Train hard fight easy 🥊

Rehab so far… 📈

My progress feels fast but not fast enough.

I am right on track but it’s easy to overlook that I am living the dream, in comparison to being locked away and sedentary for the last few months.

Though things are far from perfect and it looks like a war zone out there, when I compare my situation to the people around me, I got off lightly!

Also Iv been stopped a few times by strangers who had broke their leg in the past, who made a point of emphasising to me the importance of the rehab. One guy didn’t do it and subsequently done his ACL playing football.

So yeah I just gotta trust the process.

Everything I am doing is going to plan, I am on time, that can be known and I can still be frustrated about it.

O sweet free will 😂!

Stay safe out there peeps, that doesn’t mean don’t live, it means be ready for life 🫡

STRONG STRIDES: The scientific principles to building resilient runners workshop! 🏃🏻 @manni_o @technogym

A lot was learnt today, we went through

- Education around the skeletal & muscular system in relation to newtons law and system tolerance. 🦴

- Assessment analysis/framework for movement quality and injury prevention. 📝

- Movement prep & bodyweight strength standard. 💪🏼

- Gait analysis and expectations from general population. 🔬

We had an array of attendees who had asymmetry’s and disfunction which gave us an opportunity to use them as a case study. In real time applying what’s been learnt throughout the workshop, to effectively spot & program for limitations, both from static and active observation. As well as a brush up on the roll of the shins, alignment of the knees/ direction of the feet and how @technogym equipments can work in tandem with all running related goals!

Was a truly insightful experience and looking forward to learning more! Thank you @manni_o for sharing your expertise and the invite! 📚
