Identity by Alisa Lysykh cuts concentric contours into Marmo Camouflage marble, leaving its natural veining visible. Red-pink fibre passes through the stone, joining the individual lines. The pattern reads as both a fingerprint and a topographic map; the threads refer to the geographical union of Ukraine’s regions and to Ukrainian embroidery, whose regional forms differ in pattern, colour and technique. The wall panel is available to order through maybel.pl, with secure international shipping.

llab.design, Kyiv The studio brings together two bodies of expertise: architect and designer Aleksandr Basenko, and third-generation stonemason Vadim Livshyts, whose family company has worked with stone for three decades. In llab’s work, the geological record of the stone remains part of the design. Each piece retains its own veining, shifts in colour and natural fractures; precise machining then introduces cuts, curves and reliefs into the existing structure. The resulting objects bring together two entirely different measures of time: geological processes unfolding over thousands and millions of years, and a design decision made in the present. This reel marks the beginning of our collaboration with llab.design. Selected works by the Ukrainian studio are now available to order through maybel.pl, with secure international shipping. Każdy fragment zachowuje własne żyłowanie, przejścia koloru i naturalne spękania; dopiero precyzyjna obróbka wprowadza w zastaną strukturę cięcia, krzywizny i reliefy.

‘Protozoi’ brings together sculptural works created from layered marble remnants in Palissandro, Calacatta Verde, and Estremoz. Each element is cut to minimize production waste, following the logic of nature itself, where matter is transformed, reused, and given new purpose. Through material, reflection, and form, the collection explores the manifestation of new life and our own place within its endless cycle.

It’s one of the old project . But still remember how it was. 👍 How many factories and stone yards do you think we visited before finding the perfect stone for this kitchen?👌 Not one. Not five. Not even ten. Because when it comes to Panda White marble, “good enough” is never enough. Every slab is different. Every pattern is unique. And the right stone can transform a beautiful kitchen into a truly exceptional one. This is the slab we chose. Panda White. Nature’s masterpiece. #interiordesign #marble #дізайнінтерьера #pandawhitestone #marbledesign

Viyalo Bar Cabinet, is a sculptural bar cabinet where mythology, material, and craftsmanship converge. Inspired by the ancient symbol of the fan, believed to carry the power of the wind goddess Nemiza and transform pain into relief. Crafted in a selection of exquisite marbles including Calacatta Calvia, Fior di Pesco, Arabescato Orobico Grigio, and Nero Marquina, the cabinet transforms a material older than the seas into a contemporary work of art. Its carved form balances strength with fragility, creating a powerful yet refined presence. Custom dimensions and combinations of marbles are available upon request. • Stone has always been an important part of our projects - a material we deeply understand and continuously explore. We search for rare stones from unique quarries around the world, carefully selecting each slab for its texture, depth and natural character. For us, stone shapes the atmosphere and identity of a space.

To mark the opening of ‘New Integrity’, a kinetic installation by #nikitakadan commissioned by @ribbon.international at @pavilionofculture that foregrounds the lived experience of veterans, we centred the reception around a shared table that is not confined to celebration but acknowledges mutual presence; where in combination and on their own, all the elements serve the purpose of recognising the other’s condition. To bring the thinking to life, we partnered with selected suppliers whose practices are rooted in circular initiatives; and businesses run by veterans. The table composition drew inspiration from the still lives of the Dutch painter Willem Kalf, who often depicted carefully arranged objects against a dark background. Typically, a black or damask cloth is draped across a table bearing tableware, gold and silver vessels—many identifiable as the work of specific goldsmiths. Here, the 17th century Pronkstilleven are interpreted through a contemporary Ukrainian context and through the specific — perpetually transforming — condition of the pavilion.  Instead of gold and silver vessels, a custom upcycled aluminium, wood and stone service set appears, assembled from a range of pieces — made anew, found objects, some repurposed.  The ingredients—marinated quail eggs, brioches, and butter by @blagokurin —are “held” together by various types of handmade spiced salt produced by @lavka_deokupatsii shop, where the condiments originate from farms in recently de-occupied villages and cities of the Kharkiv region.  While the ingredients themselves are deliberately simple—recalling the basis of a travelling kitchen—salt binds it all together, echoing the “salt of the earth” idiom. Challenging sensory perception, the martini revisions by @cxid_dailybar remind to each his own, tears, sea, salt — and how things fall apart and get back together, never the same again.
